🗣️ "UNRWA is like an artery. It's what keeps us alive." Join UNRWA USA in declaring: #HandsOffUNRWA now! As the Israeli Knesset (parliament) moves to sever ties with UNRWA, the future of the agency’s vital services—and the lives of Palestine refugees they sustain—hangs in the balance. Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of UNRWA, warns that without UNRWA: 👉🏽 The ban threatens the education of 650,000 children in the Gaza Strip and 50,000 in the West Bank, with long-term consequences for their futures. 👉🏽 Half a million Palestine refugees would be deprived of essential primary health care. In places like Kalandia refugee camp, occupied West Bank, and beyond, UNRWA schools, clinics, and training centers are lifelines for Palestine refugees. This NPR story shares the voices of those most in danger and shows why we must act now.

Today (29th Nov), on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, we reaffirm our commitment to justice, equality, and peace. This day serves as a solemn reminder of the ongoing challenges faced by the Palestinian people. Recent months have seen devastating humanitarian crises, with over 2.3 million people in Gaza and 5 million across Palestine in urgent need of humanitarian assistance. According to reports: • Thousands of civilians have lost their lives, including children, due to ongoing conflict. • Over 1.6 million people in Gaza face severe food insecurity, with health and education systems on the verge of collapse. • Hundreds of thousands have been displaced from their homes, adding to an already staggering number of refugees. Solidarity is more than words; it is action. It is standing together for a just and lasting solution that ensures peace, dignity, and freedom for all. Let us continue to advocate for dialogue, mutual respect, and efforts toward a future where every individual, regardless of nationality or identity, can live in peace and security. #Solidarity #Palestine #HumanitarianCrisis #HumanRights #InternationalDayOfSolidarity #UNRWA

Show love and support to Syrians in Turkey and Lebanon today, there is very low solidarity and support. Talking to friends who are lucked in their houses in Turkey with extreme fear, no safety, no financial stability as they are either losing jobs or unable to go to their work or can't focus from fear, no psychological support, no legal support, it is beyond horrifying... Some of you can do something about it, don't question how big or small your impact today, many things could help. Please just act with your tools now. One of the things that I keep hearing, is the huge need for psychological support. It is inaccessible, expensive, or very inconsiderate to their situations in some NGOs.. If you want to support and not sure how, lets talk. Whatever field you work on today, you can help am sure.
Reports of renewed fear and uncertainty among Syrian refugees in Turkiye and Lebanon are deeply concerning. The basic right to safety and the ability to rebuild lives with dignity are fundamental for everyone. In recent weeks, the situation has escalated, with alarming incidents of violence and hate crimes targeting Syrian refugees. Many Syrians are living in fear, afraid to leave their homes due to the threat of harassment and violence. Karam Foundation stands firmly with all displaced communities who have been forced to flee their homes and loved ones. Our hearts are with those enduring these challenging times. We stand with our partners, students, and their families, hoping for a peaceful resolution that ensures the safety and dignity of all displaced individuals. #KaramFoundation #SyiranRefugees #SolidarityWithRefugees

This is UNRWA🩸 Another Friday morning, 441 Days of war and 100 Hostages are still in GAZA for 4️⃣4️⃣1️⃣ Days‼️ Watching the news and not believing that this is the world I’m living in 🤯 For those of you that haven’t heard about UNRWA, The Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East. UNRWA was established in 1949 to provide assistance, protection, and humanitarian services to Palestinian refugees in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip,Its services include: • Education • Healthcare • Social services • Infrastructure improvement • Emergency relief during crises On October 7 ,those same ”UNRWA HUMANITARIAN ” are the ones who actively participated in the Horrific massacre and kidnapping of hundreds Israelis 🩸🩸🩸 Apparently the same Teachers/ social workers and what not ,were also #HAMAS terrorists and cold blooded killers ‼️ And now when 🇮🇱 is actively acting to pass The UNRWA Termination Act, 2024 A law that stipulates that: “No state authority, including bodies or individuals performing public functions under the law, shall engage in any contact with UNRWA or its representatives.” The UN General Assembly 🇺🇳 with Antisemitic Norway 🇳🇴 leading the way, has overwhelmingly adopted a resolution against Israel , requesting an advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague regarding Israeli legislation targeting UNRWA. Once again you can see that the sole focus is attacking Israel and undermining its right to defend its citizens. The UN continues with its terror supporting agendas and they are continuing to Be on the wrong side of the map and UNRWA is nothing but a “ WOLF IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING “‼️🩸🩸🩸 United Nations #bringthemhomenow

May 15, 2024 marks 76 years since the start of the mass expulsion of Palestinians from their homeland. In 1948, some 530 Palestinian villages were destroyed, 13,000 Palestinians were killed, and more than 750,000 Palestinians were expelled from their homes during the foundation of Israel. In the decades since, more villages have been erased and many more Palestinians have been killed or displaced. Today, there are nearly 7 million Palestinian refugees, many who live in refugee camps with poor living conditions due to discriminatory restrictions. In Gaza, nearly 2 million Palestinians have been internally displaced by the current hostilities, and more than 30,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israel’s armed forces. Most Palestinians in Gaza are themselves descendants of families forced to flee their villages in 1948, during the Nakba. This horrific moment in time calls on us all to reimagine a future where Palestinians can live in peace and dignity. It must start with a halt to the hostilities. We urge you to share our call for an immediate ceasefire to prevent the further loss of life. #NakbaDay #PalestinianHistory

The UNSC must immediately act now! They have the world's mandate to do so and to use all the instruments they possess to stop the war! No single excuse left for any UNSC member to use a "joker escape veto"! Sanctions please! Without doing so, the risk is very big that the UN becomes superflous and that the world is left without any structure to address common problems! However, it is not primarily the UNs fault that nothing happens, pointing at the UN as an organization is like shooting the messenger..... Mankind meanwhile created a world that is growing/falling apart, in which the UN just reflects our divergence and has become dysfunctional because of a lack of universal support. Humanity has to urgently grow together again as equals in order to address the problems all of us face such as conflict, climate-change, inequality and forced migration..... collectively, in solidarity. www.pax.ngo & www.convergence.ngo
"If UNRWA operations are halted in the blockaded Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, tens of thousands of refugees could die due to the lack of life-saving services and resources. "Many Americans, including UNRWA USA’s over 100,000 supporters, are expressing their rage and dismay. Now is the time for leaders, especially here in the United States, to intervene and take decisive action to defend UNRWA’s mandate and ability to protect and save Palestine refugee lives." #HandsOffUNRWA

🛑 Policy Makers: How Long Would We Continue To Accept? 🛑 What Then? Injustice and Rule of Law Are Collapsing. The world community, worldwide NGOs, juridical organizations and institutions as well as human rights organizations around the world, students and academics of distinguished universities in the US, Europe and elsewhere have raised their voices against what is taking place and unfolding in front of our eyes. What is unfolding, not necessarily only in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, didn’t originate in vacuum. Ignoring international laws, allowing aggression and crimes to be the norm future generations is not by any means sustainable. What we are experiencing is affecting the global community and unprecedented consequences and escalation will continue to unfold. Every human being on the planet can access, get information and keep track on evidence materials as we have wealth of literature and the facts.

As world leaders gather for the #UNGA in New York this week, we are reminded of the critical role the private sector can play in supporting communities affected by conflict and crisis. Lebanon is facing an escalating humanitarian emergency that demands immediate global attention. #withrefugees
🚨 Yesterday saw thousands of people forced to flee their homes due to devastating bombings in Lebanon with many civilians, including children injured or killed. As António Guterres said it is the most intense Israeli bombing campaign since last October. UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency has a long-standing presence in Lebanon, providing support to both refugees and host communities. We are scaling up core relief, cash assistance and medical care - but an immediate ceasefire is needed, everywhere. #UNGA #Lebanon #UNHCR
