Sustainable Milestone: 6 Months of Rooftop Solar Power! Here are the key highlights from April to September 2024:  Energy Generated: 22,00,000 kWh of clean energy Carbon Emissions Reduced: 1600 tons of CO₂ saved Percentage of Energy: 17.17% of our total energy consumption from our rooftop solar power By harnessing the power of the sun, we are actively reducing our carbon footprint and contributing to a greener future for the textile industry. This is just the beginning of our journey toward sustainability!

Munters is excited to share that we’ve been recognized as a 2024 Climate Leader by Mass Save. Mass Save® is a collaborative of utilities and energy efficiency service providers working closely with the State of Massachusetts to help residents and businesses save energy and build a Net Zero future. Munters is building our new flagship facility for North America in Amesbury, Massachusetts, with a goal of being Net Zero. To achieve this ambitious target, Munters has made significant investments in energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives throughout every part of the building and our production processes. Although there are too many initiatives to name, some highlights include installing a 2.8-megawatt solar array on our roof and using our own Munters heat exchangers to recover and reuse waste heat from our processes. As a result, our entire facility will be electrified, and we’ll be sourcing 100% renewable electricity. Munters is committed to making a healthier climate for people and the planet, and we are thrilled that our newest factory will make a substantial contribution to that commitment. There were many green initiatives that were published in 2023, covering various topics such as sustainability, climate action, energy, circular economy, ecosystems, and social justice. Forbes published an article titled "17 Sustainability Initiatives of Businesses That Are Going Green", which showcased the success stories of different companies that have adopted eco-friendly practices and policies. Some of the examples include creating regenerative supply chains, tracking and measuring carbon footprint, conducting energy efficiency audits, and invest in green technology and renewable energy sources.
