Over the last three months, the Elite Athletes Management Group partnered up with AMB AMBITION® on a social media campaign with Phoenix Sproles to help drive brand awareness and equity. The campaign consisted of three posts: a workout video, a story telling video, and a giveaway video to drive sales conversion. We decided to build up hype around the brand, creating rapport within the community, before making any call to action. The giveaway campaign was simple. For every $1 spent on the website during the month of May, customers received 1 entry. In order to pay it forward, 10% of sales will go back to Phoenix’s high school football program to improve equipment and facilities. We have 2 main advantages in sponsorships. Our audience and our creativity. Brands can pay for advertising anywhere. We have to show and justify why they should buy from our team. We can't just say we have 'loyal fans that will transfer to your brand'. Brands can literally target your fans on social media. We have to prove that our brand is the difference. That our connection is the x-factor. We have to build in mechanisms to prove that loyalty is transferring and we are the best to do it. We can't just offer a sign or a commercial played on the scoreboard. They can buy billboard ads and TV commercials. We have to offer creative solutions that will help them stand out. That will build buzz. We compete with other forms of advertising, we have to show and prove why an investment in our form is better and different than the others if we truly want to drive more revenue.

I keep hearing this line about fan engagement within sports sponsorships: Brands saying they need more traditional ads “to increase brand loyalty." What's going to make fans more loyal: → Billboards or unforgettable game-day experiences? → TV commercials or interactive social media challenges? → Flyers or exclusive behind-the-scenes access? Because here’s the reality: You've got to understand what excites your fans. Maybe it's not the conventional marketing tactics. Maybe they want something different—experiences, connections, memories. Truth is, I don't have all the answers. But I can tell you this: If you don't innovate and adapt to experiential sponsorships, you're going to lose your most passionate supporters to brands who do.
