Proud Moment for Principles for Peace : Our Peace Games Win Innovation Award at I/ITSEC 2024 We are thrilled to share a proud milestone for P4P : Peace Games, developed in partnership with our exceptional partner CRISP , has been honored with the Serious Games Innovation Award at the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation, and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) 2024. A special congratulations to CRISP for collecting the award in person on both our behalves at this prestigious event. Inspired by the concept of “War Games” but reversing their logic, *Peace Games* offer a groundbreaking approach to conflict resolution and peacebuilding. This AI-supported simulation tool is designed to help decision-makers navigate key turning points, test assumptions, and refine strategies in real-world scenarios. With the Principles for Peace methodology at its core, the tool operationalizes innovative frameworks for better decision-making and sustainable peace outcomes. Participants engage in structured role-playing exercises that simulate complex scenarios involving governments, international organizations, and civil society. These immersive experiences allow stakeholders to explore decision-making processes, assess multifaceted solutions, and collaborate in a risk-free environment to address challenges in conflicts and peace processes. Peace Games have already proven to be a vital part of P4P’s toolkit. For instance, we’ve worked with the Somali government to develop strategies for implementing the National Reconciliation Framework and explored pathways for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. These tailored exercises demonstrate the adaptability of *Peace Games* to meet the specific needs of diverse stakeholders. This recognition is a testament to P4P’s commitment to advancing innovative tools for peacebuilding. As our partners at CRISP noted, “This achievement didn’t happen overnight. It’s the result of years of learning from challenges and refining our methodologies.” Together, we are leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to address the complex realities of modern peacebuilding. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has contributed to this journey. Let’s continue to pioneer new approaches to conflict transformation and build a more peaceful world. #IITSEC2024 #SeriousGames #InnovationAward #ConflictTransformation #Peacebuilding #PeaceGame #AI #PrinciplesForPeace #CRISP #HybridSolutions
🏆 Proud Moment! Our team’s hard work has been recognized: we won the Serious Games Innovation Award at Interservice / Industry Training, Simulation, and Education Conference I/ITSEC 2024! 💡 The AI-supported PEACEGAME is a groundbreaking simulation tool for peacebuilding. 🎉 Excited to share a major milestone in CRISP’s journey! Standing at our booth at I/ITSEC 2024, holding the Serious Games Innovation Award, I’m filled with pride and gratitude for our incredible team. This award is dedicated to everyone who has contributed to the development of our revolutionary simulation, The PEACEGAME. Over the years, we’ve pushed boundaries, adapting the simulation method to unique contexts—from tackling tropical diseases and fostering constitutional participation in Egypt to advancing peacebuilding efforts in Yemen. The PEACEGAME’s AI-supported technology marks a new era in conflict resolution. By simulating complex scenarios and visualizing interactions during negotiation processes, it empowers decision-makers with insights like never before. This achievement didn’t happen overnight. It’s the result of years of innovation, resilience, and learning from challenges. Our agile, international team turned setbacks into breakthroughs, making The PEACEGAME the tool it is today. Winning the Serious Games Innovation Award—especially among such outstanding competition—is a humbling recognition of our work to address global conflicts with non-violent solutions. The feedback and connections established at I/ITSEC inspire us to keep improving and expanding. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Here’s to continued innovation and making a real-world impact! 🌍 #ITSEC2024 #SeriousGames #InnovationAward #ConflictTransformation #Peacebuilding Many thanks to all partners, supporters, friends and family: Principles for Peace, Serious Games Showcase & Challenge (SGS&C), Jenn McNamara, Matthew Becchio, David Urban, Adelle Adams, Seth Crofton, Rodney Redwin, Donald Hale, Ryan Pritchard, PMP, Paul Darvasi, Ph.D., Rich Lloyd 🔜 I/ITSEC Serious Games Showcase Challenge, Andrew Lloyd,
