🎶 May production keep up the pace! I had the pleasure of attending the opening of Eberspächer’s new factory in the Opole region. It’s truly impressive how such a large-scale project was completed in just 12 months. Eberspächer Group is a leader in heating and cooling systems production, has launched a new production line focused on components for the automotive sector, particularly for buses and minibuses. Notably, this investment was made possible with support under the Polish Investment Zone (PSI) program, showcasing how effectively public support and business initiatives can work together. 🇵🇱 This is a fantastic example of how investments can drive regional development – creating new jobs, introducing state-of-the-art technology, and contributing to the dynamic growth of the automotive sector. MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers has announced the Council of Remanufacturing Excellence (CoRE) as its newest member network. CoRE is billed as a member-driven platform for advancing the field of remanufacturing by focusing on knowledge-sharing and collaboration among members. “CoRE brings together the expanded resources of MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers and two legacy peer group councils: Remanufacturing Business Council and Remanufacturing Technology & Operations Council,” the association stated in describing the new council. “Through their participation in CoRE, remanufacturers and their suppliers in the automotive and commercial vehicle aftermarket will have a focused platform and greater access to the value within their membership group: MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers.” John Chalifoux, COO of MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers and chief sustainability officer of MEMA, said the council is well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of its members as attention to sustainability and the circular economy grows. Deeside and Braunschweig teams The recent workshop involving the manufacturing plants in Deeside and Braunschweig brought together a highly experienced team, committed to exploring innovative solutions and raising the level of operational excellence. This gathering provided a unique opportunity to share experiences and best practices between the units, fostering a collaborative learning environment and strengthening the technical and strategic capabilities of the teams. Diversity of perspectives was one of the greatest assets of this workshop. GLP takes over three #logistics properties from SEGRO plc: GLP Capital Partners acquires three properties in Neuenstadt, Grevenbroich and Malsfeld with a total of 129,000 square meters of rental space. GLP Capital Partners has secured a logistics #portfolio from Segro European Logistics Partnership. The #properties are located in Neuenstadt, Grevenbroich-Kapellen and Malsfeld and together comprise 129,000 square meters of rental space. All three properties are fully let. No information is given on the purchase price. The 20,400 square meter site in Grevenbroich-Kapellen (Konrad-Zuse-Straße 1-3) consists of three units that were built in 2005 and 2007. With its location on the A46 just west of Düsseldorf, the site offers a good connection between the Benelux countries and the Ruhr area. The property in Neuenstadt am Kocher at Wilhelm-Maybach-Straße 2-10 was built in 2009 and comprises a total of seven units. Together, they offer an area of 73,400 square meters. The site is located in an established business park between Heilbronn and Stuttgart, not far from the A81. The property in Malsfeld (Bornwiese 1) was built in 2006 and expanded in 2020. It offers a rental area of 35,000 square meters and is located between Kassel and Frankfurt am Main, directly on the A7. Knight Frank and JLL acted as intermediaries in the #transaction.
