During the weekend, I took a break from the digital world and reconnected with my childhood hobby - painting. The feeling of dipping the brush into vivid colors and watching them come alive on canvas was therapeutic. In our busy lives, it's easy to forget about these small joys that bring us immense happiness. We often sideline our hobbies for work, responsibilities or just out of sheer laziness. Why Hobbies Matter We live in a world obsessed with productivity—every minute accounted for, every activity expected to yield some measurable result. But here’s a thought: not everything in life needs to be productive. Enter hobbies. Real, genuine hobbies that you do simply because they bring you joy, with no expectation of making money or becoming the best at them. For me, it's pottery. I’m not the next great ceramic artist, but there’s something about working with clay that calms my mind. It doesn’t matter if the pot is slightly wonky or if I never sell a single piece. Hobbies are about the process, about losing yourself in something you love. They remind us that life isn't just about ticking off achievements—it's also about finding moments of pure, simple enjoyment. If you don’t have a hobby, find one. Having a hobby is not selfish, its looking after yourself. https://lnkd.in/gwyWZX-G Whether its a solo hobby, or something you share with other family members, make it something simple that you enjoy. Having been inside the PB for most of my life, I know what my reaction would have been: Oh a hobby is a waste of time, I can't afford it, what will people say if I miss a meeting? Put all that aside and start. A hobby doesn't need a purpose. Let it flow, just enjoy the moment. There are thousands of hobby's for you to explore.
