Many vendors make cold calls and most are ignored. Here is one that was not: Jimmy Russell of JLR Group, LLC dropped off a crumpled piece of paper for Randy Thomas, our facilities manager . When Randy uncrumpled ball of paper, there was a compelling note recognizing that most cold calls are ignored. Jimmy followed up with an email, subject line "From the crumpled paper guy." His unusual approach broke through the clutter and, yes, JLR Group actually has services Weldaloy is interested in. Don't be afraid to employ unusual tactics to get someone's attention.
