💡 In TEAMIT+ project we aim to change the pedagogical model on entrepreneurship and innovation education. 📌 The objective of the TEAMIT+ project is to develop a training program applying an innovative teampreneurship pedagogical methodology based on the “learning by creating” approach. Behind this methodology is learning by doing and team learning methods. These learning methods are widely used in Tiimiakatemia, Finland. 🤝 Today we had a dialogue session with Tiimiakatemia´s teampreneurs about team learning – why we use it, what it is in practice, how does it work and what kind of learning tools we have. We understood that team learning is much faster and efficient. Team learning makes it possible to combine different perspectives and experiences. Each team member has their own strengths, knowledge and skills that can complement each other. It gives us a great opportunity to implement each one teach one mindset. 🌟 Discovering Finnish Innovation in Education: TOY Entrepreneurial On-the-Job Learning Program 🇫🇮 During my first commitment to the Erasmus+ project MERS, as a representative of vocational training in the German retail industry, in cooperation with the #EuropeanComission and the #Sasky Municipal Education and Training Consortium, I had the chance to learn about an incredible educational initiative: the TOY Entrepreneurial On-the-Job Learning Program. This program is a shining example of how Finland is fostering #entrepreneurialthinking and practical business skills among students. 🔍 Key Features of the TOY Program: - Hands-On Learning: Students get the unique opportunity to establish and run their own products and services, experiencing the full spectrum of business operations from planning to execution. - Entrepreneurial Skills Development: The program emphasizes critical skills like problem-solving, teamwork, independence, and risk assessment. Last week, I delivered the Opening Plenary at the WISE Conference, hosted by Wake Forest University (WISE stands for Workshop on Intercultural Skills Enhancement). Kelsey Patton, an intercultural learning specialist has created a really interesting HubICL Collection on Goal Setting. Although she started out collecting activities from the HubICL Toolbox on the subject, she soon realized that the HubICL's resources on the topic were written from a US perspective.
