🇺🇸 To Our Veterans and Their Families: Today at Windsor Engineers we pause to honor not only those who wear our nation's uniform, but also the families who stand behind them with unwavering strength. Your service to our country extends far beyond the battlefield – it lives in the quiet moments of separation, in the silent prayers of loved ones, and in the steadfast courage of military families who keep the home fires burning. To our veterans: Your sacrifice has secured our freedoms, your courage has inspired generations, and your dedication has shaped the very foundation of our nation. Whether you served in times of war or peace, your commitment to duty has made our world safer and our future brighter. To the families who waited, worried, and persevered: Your resilience is the backbone of our military community. You weathered deployments, moves, and uncertainties with grace. You raised children alone, celebrated milestones through video calls, and carried the weight of responsibility at home so your loved ones could serve abroad. Your sacrifice, though often unseen, has never been forgotten. ✝️ To those who gave their last full measure of devotion: We honor your memory and embrace the families you left behind. Your legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew you and in the freedom we cherish today. On this Veterans Day 2024, we say thank you – not just to our veterans, but to every loved one who has shared in the journey of military service. Your combined sacrifice and dedication remind us that service to our nation is truly a family commitment. #VeteransDay2024 #ThankYou #MilitaryFamilies #VeteransStrong #SupportOurTroops

May is Military Appreciation Month, a time to honor and recognize the contributions and sacrifices of the men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Every day, American service members and their families make the selfless decision to help defend our freedoms and safety around the globe. Military life often involves huge sacrifices – whether it’s relocating far from family and friends or service members’ spouses giving up their own careers to keep their family unit together. There are countless ways to show your appreciation and give back to our veterans, active military personnel and their families. One of the simplest ways of showing appreciation is to say, “thank you.” You might also consider giving a military spouse a hand in their day-to-day lives. If you know a deployed military family, why not drop off a meal, offer to babysit or take their dog for a walk? And if you’re a business owner, giving back can be as easy as providing a military discount. These small gestures can go a long way in supporting service members and their families. As a veteran myself, I understand the importance of support and camaraderie within the military community and I encourage you to join me in showing appreciation in whatever way you can, both this month and always. #MilitaryAppreciationMonth #MilitaryAppreciation #Veterans #SupportOurVeterans

Reflections on Remembrance Day I understand that the United States observes Veterans Day on November 11, focusing on honoring all military veterans, both living and deceased. However, in Canada, Remembrance Day centers on commemorating those who have died in military service. Remembrance Day is more than just a holiday; it’s a solemn tribute to those who served, fought, and, for many, gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we can live in peace and freedom. Today, on November 11, at exactly 11:00 a.m., we pause in silence for two minutes to remember and honor the countless men and women who have dedicated their lives to the values that we cherish. During the Remembrance Day ceremony, I noticed a relatively young Armed Forces member crying uncontrollably. I felt a tug at my heart. My thoughts? Either he was grappling with the weight of an unknown future—wondering what sacrifices might lie ahead if he hadn’t fully contemplated the depth of his life choice—or he was simply overcome with sadness for the lives lost in battle. In that moment, I saw the human side of service. Veterans are remembered not just for their courage but for their discipline and quiet strength, even when the path is uncertain. But it’s important to remember that some servicemen and women face unseen battles. Many struggle with the scars of their service, suffering from conditions like PTSD. For some, these battles are lifelong, and not all come out the other side the same. Today, I honor my roots as a product of a veteran—a legacy of discipline and resilience that taught us all that strength is found in service. These values are passed down, shaping us in ways we can never fully put into words. In honor of those who served and fell, we remember. What will you be remembered for? #RemembranceDay #LestWeForget #HonoringHeroes #MilitaryService #CanadianVeterans #SacrificeAndService #InMemoriam #ThankYouVeterans #StrengthInService #LegacyOfCourage #PTSAwareness #RememberTheFallen #November11 #HonoringSacrifice

On Veterans Day, we reflect on a profound truth: service comes in many forms, but military service stands apart. They say a Veteran is someone who once handed their country a blank check, payable with their very life. This isn't just a powerful metaphor - it's the reality of military service. Every man and woman who puts on the uniform makes this extraordinary commitment, whether serving four years or thirty, in times of peace or war. What makes this service unique? It's the absolute nature of their commitment. Veterans don't choose their assignments or set their terms. They go where needed, serve who needs them, and sacrifice without question. They put aside careers, leave families behind, and suspend personal dreams for a greater purpose. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13) While we call them heroes, many Veterans humbly point to their fallen comrades as the true heroes - those who paid the ultimate price. Yet today, we honor all who served, because each one embodied the same spirit of selfless dedication. At Serve Funding, their example of service inspires our own mission to serve our clients and partners. This Veterans Day, we encourage you to not only thank a Veteran but to follow their example: set aside your own agenda and find a way to serve someone in need. - Michael Kodinsky #VeteransDay #VeteransDay2024 #HereToServe #Sacrifice #ServantLeadership

On this day, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the heroes who stepped forward in the face of unimaginable tragedy. First responders, medical personnel, and countless volunteers served courageously, offering their all to help families and communities in need. As a USAF veteran, I’ve come to reflect on what it truly means to serve. When we sign up to join the military, I don’t know if we fully understand the weight of giving ourselves for others. But when the moment comes—when faced with the decision to defend our country, fight for freedom, and even face the possibility of war—so many do not flinch. They serve with honor, and some pay the ultimate price so that others can live their lives in peace. This spirit of selflessness and sacrifice is something I carry with me, not only from my military service but also in everyday life. Whether on the battlefield or in the challenges we face daily, standing for what you believe in and knowing your value is a form of strength that can inspire and uplift those around us. Today, we honor those who gave their lives on 9/11 and those who continue to serve. Let’s never forget their sacrifice and strive to support one another in their memory. #NeverForget #911Heroes #EqualPayEqualSay #VeteranStrong #ServiceAndSacrifice #Resilience #Leadership #HonoringTheFallen #MilitaryService #NeverForget #911Heroes #EqualPayEqualSay #VeteranStrong #ServiceAndSacrifice #Resilience #Leadership #HonoringTheFallen #MilitaryService

Important reminder for the upcoming holiday... 👉Memorial Day (last Monday of May) is a day for remembering and honoring military personnel who died during service to their country. 👉Veterans Day (November 11th) is the day set aside to thank and honor all who served honorably in the military; past and present, living and deceased. Note the difference and plan your social media posts appropriately. As GI Joe would say, "Now you know, and knowing is half the battle." 💯 Hot Take🔥 It's really not appropriate to say "Happy" Memorial Day. When you think about the true meaning of the day, it's more of a solemn note. #UnpopularOpinion . . . #SocialMedia #SocialMediaMarketing #SocialMediaStrategy #SocialMediaManager #SmallBusinessOwner #DigitalMarketing #digitalmarketing #socialmediaguru #smallbusinesssupport #MemorialDay #VeteransDay #Philadelphia #Marketing #SocialMediaExpert #SocialMediaStrategist #BucksCountyPA #BucksCountyBusiness #DoylestownPA #WarringtonPA #ChalfontPA #NewtownPA #MontcoPA #MakeItMontco #HatboroPA #HorshamPA #PlymouthMeeting #AdmasCountyPA #FrederickMD #SocialMediaHelp

As a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), BC Holdings of TN honors the service and sacrifice of veterans and their families today. Thank you for your bravery, commitment, and dedication to protecting our freedoms. According to the U.S. Census, Veterans Day originated as “Armistice Day” on Nov. 11, 1919, the first anniversary of the end of World War I. Congress passed a resolution in 1926, making it an annual observance, and it became a national holiday in 1938. Sixteen years later, then-President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed legislation changing the name to Veterans Day to honor all those who served their country during war or peacetime. As of 2023, there were 15.8 million military veterans in the U.S., of which 1.7 million are female veterans. BC Holdings of TN stands ready to help veterans take control of their financial futures, offering the tools needed to build stability and peace of mind. #VeteransDay #VeteranOwned #VABenefits #FinancialWellness #BCHoldingsTN

Veterans with mobility issues through being wounded, injured, illness or age, deserve to be able to travel with dignity, not be manhandked on and off aircraft like a sack of potatoes, risking injury, or death. They deserve to know their wheelchairs will not be damaged during a flight or during loading and unloading. United Airlines had the opportunity to have its replacement fleet accessible but chose not do. Janet do not wait for legislation that could force your airline to be accessible but show some humanity and humility to not only disabled veterans but all mobility disabled people, first by starting discussions with your aircraft manufacturers to make accessibility a priority. https://chng.it/XLVWt2Ls5y #unitedairlines #health #wellbeing #veterans #MemorialDay #AccessibleTravel #Wheelchairs #Disability #Transportation #aviation #AccessibleTourism #PVA #aircraft #accessibility #military #veteransaffairs
This Memorial Day, we remember those who served and made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. And to the many veterans, family members and friends of the military who have been impacted by loss and have reason to hold this day close to the heart, including our own United community members, we honor you.
