Very honored to be recognized as part of the Innovate Finance Standout 45 on the Women in Fintech Powerlist 2023 🌟 This recognition means a lot and caps off a difficult, challenging 2023 for me, personally, but also highlights the collective impact of female leaders in the fintech industry. The journey for female entrepreneurs and leaders in fintech is tough. From access to funding and resources to breaking through gender biases, the road to "success" is riddled with obstacles. Despite hurdles, women continue to defy expectations, innovate, and drive meaningful change in the fintech landscape (and obviously beyond). The Women in Fintech Powerlist sheds light on the remarkable contributions of women who are leading the charge in this dynamic industry. It underscores the importance of diversity and inclusion, not only as a moral imperative but also as a strategic advantage in driving innovation and industry growth. I'm acutely aware of my platform and am committed to advocating for greater representation, empowerment, and opportunities for underrepresented voices in the industry. Together, we can create an ecosystem that fosters creativity, collaboration, and success for all. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the incredible women who have been recognized on this Powerlist (as well as the ones not on the list). Let us continue to inspire, support, and lift one another as we shape the future of fintech and pave the way for generations to come. 💪🚀 #WomenInFintech #Leadership #DiversityAndInclusion #FintechInnovation #Empowerment

In this article, Tipalti's CFO Sarah Spoja shares, "Women made up just 16% of CFOs in 2023. While this figure has almost doubled over the past ten years, the percentages of women at the top remain too low. We must create a more dynamic environment that embraces modernization through technology to make the career more attractive to young talent, and we must continue to mentor our emerging talent through programs that showcase opportunities for their careers to grow across finance and accounting."

Happy International Women’s Day! Dive into the insightful words of Teresa Cameron CIMA, AMCT, Finance Director at Clear Junction, as she shares a compelling perspective on the state of diversity, equality, and inclusion within the fintech industry in Private Banker International’s #InternationalWomensDay article. Teresa challenges the industry’s claims of embracing diversity, pointing out that, despite fintech being hailed as a bold and innovative sector, female representation remains low. Fintech holds the potential to be a force for good and drive financial inclusion, with Teresa advocating for fintech companies to authentically represent the diverse societies they serve. At Clear Junction, we’re proud to have a team of over 120 individuals from various nationalities, languages, and cultures across multiple locations, with half of our C-suite members being female. The strength of Clear Junction lies in our diverse team, where different backgrounds and experiences converge to fuel innovative problem-solving. As we reflect on Teresa’s words, let’s recognise the power of diversity and inclusion in fostering innovation and success within the fintech landscape. #FintechInnovation #DiversityandInclusion #FinancialInclusion #WomenInSTEM #InnovateTogether #IWD2024

Three years ago we created the Women CMOs in fintech report highlighting the voices of the many women responsible for brand, customer experience and increasingly growth at fintechs (CMOs over index as women in this male-dominated industry) I believe that marketing leaders are uniquely relevant to the success of fintechs and I was tired of focusing on the anemic number of women founders and CEOs in fintech. We wanted a positive way to bring out their thought leadership. Amplifying their insights highlights the critical role marketing plays in shaping the future of financial services. This year's group of CMOs have proven that they are both a brand steward and the key strategic growth leader and their lessons in success are valuable take-ways for anyone looking to grow their fintech brand. And given the ways they orchestrate growth you might just see them as the next CEO. The Fletcher Group PayTech Women, formerly Wnet Women in Payments
In an industry as dynamic as #fintech, the voices of #WomenInLeadership, particularly #ChiefMarketingOfficers, have never been more vital. In our third annual Women CMOs in Fintech report, we investigate the evolving role of CMOs and highlight the strategies these leaders are using to advance some of the most well-known fintech brands.👇 https://lnkd.in/g7vnqRTk #fintech #CMO

Looking forward to attending and engaging in thought-provoking discussions at FinTech LIVE London next week! I am particularly excited about the Women in FinTech panel to hear from female leaders who are navigating and reshaping this fast-evolving sector. Did you know that in the UK, women make up only 30% of the FinTech workforce, hold 17% of senior roles, and just 12% of FinTech startups have at least one female founder? Diversity isn’t just a goal - it’s a catalyst for innovation. Women in FinTech need to be seen and heard, and I most definitely want to play a part in disrupting the status quo, and creating an ecosystem where women in FinTech aren’t the exception but the rule. #WomenInFinTech #Diversity #FinTechLeadership #FintechLIVE #EmpoweringWomen #Purpose #FemaleEmpowerment #FinTech

This International Women’s Month, I’ve had so many messages from women telling me about their amazing allies and the power of their advocacy. Importantly, the truly effective ones are those who see inclusion as an all-year-round consideration and not a fair-weather topic! Listen to a few of the memorable allies from the pods: Suresh Vaghjiani, CEO of CLOWD9, discussed his responsibilities in driving the company mission and inclusive culture. He puts particular emphasis on diversity of thought, ensuring you are proactive in attracting and retaining a diverse pool of talent from all backgrounds and experiences. Wasim Mushtaq, COO of Centre for Finance, Innovation and Technology (CFIT). Wassim shared his own journey into finance and how the support he received has led to him being incredibly active in supporting others Richard Davies, CEO of Allica Bank. Richard reflects on his career experiences in different organisations, underlining the importance of both top-down and bottom-up efforts in promoting inclusivity. At the core of all the messages is the notion that even small actions, when done consistently, can add up to meaningful progress - we need the big policies, the forums, the government support, and legislation and, we need everyone to take part. Inclusion includes us all. Thank you for listening to FinTech's DEI Discussions Let’s listen Let’s learn Let’s #walkthetalk! #inclusion #fintech #recruitment #investinpeople #allyship #advocacy
