The company's booth boasts an augmented reality station, an Open RAN stand, and a Mission Critical Communications live demo that demonstrates how low-latency 5G can help reduce the threat of wildfires and save lives. The Networks showcase includes 12 recently launched hardware and software products that prepare the ground for intent-based automated networks and push the performance of 5G multi-layer networks to the maximum level. India Mobile Congress Day 1 Highlights: Empowering Innovation. Transforming India The India Mobile Congress 2024, held in New Delhi from 15-18 October 2024, showcases cutting-edge technology solutions and demonstrations shaping the future of connectivity. With initiatives like the Global AI Accelerator and world-class R&D, the focus is on leveraging 5G to empower individuals, industries, and communities. India Mobile Congress (IMC), Asia’s largest technology forum, features this year’s theme: The Future is Now. It brings together industry leaders, government, academia, and other ecosystem players to discuss and display the latest ICT innovations. For over a century, telecom innovation has been driving India’s digital transformation. This journey continues with a bold vision to inspire innovation and unlock opportunities through connectivity. Day 1 of IMC 2024 opened with impactful sessions and technology demonstrations, highlighting how digital transformation is turning India into a hub of innovation. Immersive experience zones and discussions showcased advancements in 5G, cloud technology, edge innovation, and Industry 4.0. Key sessions addressed topics like the need for agility in technology adoption, unlocking network potential, cloud-enabled edge innovation, and the importance of open APIs for seamless connectivity. Unlike traditional exhibitions, this event turned almost every corner of the city into a hub of discovery and collaboration. Why have an exhibition in one place when you can turn the whole city into a technology adventure for tech enthusiasts? 🚶♂️💡  Our team had the unique pleasure of presenting from the Cinedom 🎞️ , right by the popcorn stand! 🍿 😀 Discussing the future of tech while the smell of popcorn filled the air? Now that’s what I call a blockbuster innovation! 📽️ 😉 Deutsche Telekom’s dynamic approach created an unforgettable environment to exchange ideas and showcase groundbreaking technologies. As I reflect, here are two key innovations from Nokia that we presented at the event, which continue to lead the way in digital transformation and the path of monetizing technology investments:  1️⃣ Nokia Network as Code:   This platform is unlocking the full potential of 5G by providing open APIs and developer tools, enabling the creation of new applications in IoT, smart cities, and beyond. A standout example we demoed was the Port of Antwerp use case, where Nokia partnered with Liberty Global to enhance maritime operations with ultra-low latency and real-time data.
