This summit is a collaborative initiative, bringing together academic and industry leaders from the UK and Switzerland to explore cutting-edge developments in synthetic and engineering biology. During the session on Bioprocessing and Scale-Up, Frank and fellow experts delved into critical topics, including: 🔹 How rapid advancements in synthetic and engineering biology are expanding the possibilities of bioprocess technologies in the healthcare space. 🔹 Current challenges in bioprocessing concerning new modalities and the complexities of reproducibility and standards/metrology. 🔹 Scale-up challenges from an investment perspective. 🔹 Educating and collaborating with relevant communities, including academics, to address knowledge and skills gaps in bioprocessing and scale-up. We are thrilled to contribute to these important discussions and look forward to continuing our efforts in bridging the gap between research and development in the life sciences. Special thanks to Anike Te from Lucideon for the invitation 👏 Tim Heinemann Oliver Dovey Helen Stubbs Pugin #SyntheticBiology #EngineeringBiology #Bioprocessing #HealthcareInnovation #Biotechnology #LifeSciences #Innovation #Investment
