Unlocking the potentials In Nigeria As my sister tuned in to Channels Television to join the live conversation on The Platform Nigeria hosted by the founder and senior pastor of The Covenant Nation (TCN) an event centered on nation building, I paid keen attention to the first two speakers because the past events have helped intensified the passion I have developed towards making significant impacts as a citizen to my country’s growth, and shaping the foundation of the leadership skills I have acquired. Kola Adesina, MFR, FNSE shared very insightful views that I will be adopting and I noted them in my journal: • Build an intellectual and provocative perspective even in a challenging or negative environment and this will birth great ideas and innovations • Build a growth mindset, harness your talent and multiply value (those who multiply value become billionaires) • For you to make gain, you need to first solve a customers pain (every customer is ready to pay you for replacing their pains with value • Integrity is vital in any business: integrity is not something you document, it is portrayed. • Preparedness, adaptiveness and gaining knowledge is fundamental (knowledge is inexhaustible therefore, we need to lean on one another to grow). To sum it up, when considering businesses to venture into in this age, ensure to acquire digital skills, this is a skill set that help you showcase any local skill or abilities without limitations. Thankfully, businesses to consider were also shared which you can watch on YouTube, kindly find link attached below👇🏻 https://lnkd.in/dtD9wfbx

Embracing a Growth Mindset in Nigeria Nigerians are known for their resilience, creativity, and vibrant culture. However, sometimes, limiting beliefs and fixed mindsets can hold us back from achieving our full potential. What's a fixed mindset? Imagine believing your intelligence and abilities are fixed and unchangeable. This can lead to phrases like "I'm not good at math" or "I'm not a natural leader." But the good news is ! We can develop a growth mindset, believing our abilities can be developed and improved through effort and learning. This shift in perspective can be life-changing. Here's how you can embrace a growth mindset, the Nigerian way: Challenge limiting beliefs: When you hear that inner voice saying "I can't," challenge it! Ask yourself, "Is this truly my limit, or am I afraid to try?" Celebrate effort, not just results: Instead of solely focusing on winning or perfect grades, acknowledge the effort you put in. Remember, even setbacks are opportunities to learn and grow. Learn from mistakes: Don't see mistakes as failures, but as stepping stones. Analyze what went wrong, learn from it, and come back stronger. Embrace challenges: View challenges as opportunities to stretch yourself and develop new skills. Don't shy away from difficult tasks - they can unlock hidden potential. Seek inspiration and support: Surround yourself with positive and growth-oriented individuals who believe in you and your potential. Share your goals and challenges with them, and learn from their experiences. Developing a growth mindset is a journey, not a destination. By embracing challenges, learning from mistakes, and celebrating effort, we, Nigerians, can unlock our true potential and achieve anything we set our minds to. Remember, it's never too late to grow and become the best version of yourself. Let's break free from limiting beliefs and build a future filled with possibility! #growthmindset #Nigeria #selfimprovement #potential

Stop Searching Far When the Solution Is Near! There’s a thought-provoking Nigerian proverb: “What you are looking for in Sokoto is in your sokoto.” Sokoto, a distant state in Northern Nigeria, represents the far-off places we look to for answers. Meanwhile, Ṣòkòtò (pronounced ‘shokoto’) —the Yoruba word for trousers—reminds us that the solutions we seek might already be right in our pockets or closer than we realize. This saying holds valuable lessons for individuals, teams, especially leaders of organizations. It challenges us to recognize the untapped resources, innovative ideas, and capable people within our immediate circles. Often, the breakthroughs we pursue externally can be achieved through collaboration and the collective intelligence of those around us. To explore how Growth through Collective Intelligence can unlock potential in your life and work, join Afrissance and ACMP Nigeria for an exciting webinar featuring: 🔑 Jeff Wetzler, author of ASK 🔑Temitope Richard-Banji (PhD) , Leadership and Culture Consultant 📅 Date: Friday, 29th November 2024 ⏰ Time: 9 AM EST | 2 PM GMT | 3 PM WAT 📍 Venue: Online (Zoom) 🌐 Register Now: https://lnkd.in/dcgQjNNT Discover how to harness the power of collaboration to solve challenges, drive innovation, and achieve meaningful growth. "How you grow, to a larger extent, determines certain places you would be able to access, certain people you would be able to meet and certain opportunities you would be able to harness." Here's a relatable example. Tobi Amusan (I'm hopeful I got the pronunciation correctly - "Mâ biñu" if I didn't 😟) I took cognizance of something about her. Now, she has been into sprinting, better put, she's been an athlete for a couple of years before coming to limelight at one of the global competitions She participated in three years ago. Something happened upon successfully completing a World Record (WR), and Personal Best (PB), of twelve seconds, twelve microseconds. You remember 12:12? Setting this New World Record opened her to top brand ambassadorship deals in Nigeria, one of such is that of Glo Telecommunications. This is the lesson, Global Visionaries: Glo Telecommunications didn't just see potentials, they saw someone who made a commitment to persist until growth happens. Simply put, they saw growth. This is what we are driving at - growth is a system of acceleration, if you are not growing, you cannot accelerate. How then do I get to grow, Noble? This is what The Growth Accelerator in person of, Leader Grace Adetimehin is set to demystify tonight. Join The Ongoing Conversation: https://lnkd.in/dpCpAzHw Trust we have a deal?

I would rather stay in the background than post on any social media platform but I have realized that it is not a rewarding practice in this era where 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠. As a data-driven operation manager in the fintech industry with previous role in sales and business development, I have been contributing my quota in actualizing the federal government's goal of increasing financial inclusion in Nigeria. I could use this platform to share my knowledge and learn from millions of professionals on this platform( 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞). LinkedIn is a gold mine I haven't been tapping into all these years. Fortunately for me, I met a queen Haoma Worgwu and she has been able to open my eyes to amazing things I could do with LinkedIn. This is why I am happy to announce my participation in the 20 days LinkedIn growth program with Haoma Worgwu I plan to achieve the following with this program: 📌 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 📌 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐩-𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝𝐈𝐧'𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 📌 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐦𝐲 𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 📌 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐲𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 I promise you, the next 20 days will be interesting, your engagement and feedback will go a long way. Winning is living intentionally! The past 6 months of 2024 have been nothing short of amazing wins as an undergraduate University of Nigeria, Nsukka, a leader, student, innovator, change driver and most importantly a determined follower dedicated to learning. It is also true that I have with no doubt been faced with countless challenges during this time. sometimes overwhelmed, discouraged and feeling the need to withdraw but at the end I some how overcome and see the light at the end of the tunnel. At the face of every challenge, I remind myself of my biggest resolution for 2024, to live intentionally, to be accountable to myself for every single thing that concerns me, big or small. soon I learnt that for every problem I faced it only looked like a big problem because that version of myself is still very small compared to the problem. The size of the problem is never the issue, what matters is the size of you! I am grateful for the seventh month and all the wins it holds, still very intentional about the results I will produce in this month. The most exciting news is that I will be sharing most of my major wins, activities and events from the past 6 months to remind myself of how accountable I have been. I also sincerely desire to inspire and show that the secret consistency and accountability, as it has improved my quality of living. #growthmindset #inspiration #aspiring #leadership #changedirves #youth #young #champion.
