When I used to think about the task of achieving #genderequality, I used to say... ❌️ "it's soooo much work to be done" 🥴😬 ... A little about GOOD TO BE GOOD: Since 2016—with the support of our community—we’ve served and empowered over 1,000 women and gender-diverse folks from priority groups, such as those who are low-income, isolated, refugee, migrant, BIPOC, and under-resourced communities facing significant barriers. These communities, often impacted by systemic challenges and injustices, are at the heart of our work to promote equity and advance much-needed progress. The reality is, that these are people from YOUR community deserving support and protection, because simply put: the world wasn’t built with them (us) in mind. Through peer support, workshops, advocacy, rights protections, direct support, and our Change Make-Her programs, we’ve been able to provide the resources and opportunities that allow these individuals to thrive. Our mission has always been clear: invest in women, elevate communities. This December, your solidarity with our Empowered Women Elevate Communities campaign has never been more important. Together, we can ensure that this vital work continues. We need to build a community that includes anyone and everyone.
