I am happy to reflect on the incredible progress we have made since the early days when the tech was merely a strategic theme. Big thanks to all the fellow innovation enthusiasts in Operations who have been working with us. 3D Digital Twins serve as virtual replicas of the actual assets, allowing to predict and prevent equipment failures, optimize maintenance schedules, and simulate scenarios to improve operational efficiency. Engineers and operators can explore every component and aspect of the asset, from its structural integrity to its performance metrics, all within a virtual environment. Imagine planning a component replacement or inspection and walking around it in a 3D environment, with the ability to manipulate parts, test system values, and follow step-by-step instructions. Collaborating with partners like #Cognite, #Microsoft, #Google, we've embarked on an exciting journey to trial some of the Digital Twin technology. However, there is still much more to do to establish this concept as fully functioning.
