Advancements in biomedical engineering, like 3D bioprinting and electrospinning, are enhancing stem cell therapies for treating limbal stem cell deficiency (LSCD), a condition leading to blindness. This review paper does a good job highlighting the various approaches and biomaterials for treating this blindness, including using collagen and hyaluronic acid (Advanced BioMatrix) combined with 3D bioprinting or electrospinning.
