Living in the tranquil towns of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire I cherish the love, peace and quiet that define our community. However, I equally love the unique kind of peace that comes with the roar of motorcycles during Motorcycle Week in Laconia, New Hampshire. Today marks the start of Motorcycle Week in Laconia, New Hampshire, transforming serene surrounding small towns like Wolfeboro and Alton into buzzing hubs of excitement. The population skyrockets (our small towns become "crowded"), traffic jams abound, and the roar of engines fills the air. But Motorcycle Week is much more than the sound and spectacle; it's a celebration of brotherhood and sisterhood. Despite the influx, the atmosphere remains remarkably peaceful. Even with biker clubs in town, the week is filled with joy and camaraderie. There's a palpable sense of unity and love, with no major conflicts to speak of. One notable aspect is the presence of militant female bikers who protest the beach ban on topless sunbathing in Gilford, NH. They view this as anti-female and fight for their rights passionately, aligning with the more progressive stance of places like Hampton Beach, which does not enforce such draconian laws. Motorcycle Week is a vibrant celebration of community and freedom, where everyone, regardless of their background, comes together in a spirit of harmony and mutual respect. Buenos dias, LinkedIn! Week 11 of 2024 AND #5 Wake Up Wednesday ✨️ FEAR! One of the greatest tools our human mind has given us to protect ourselves and also one of the most debilitating tools from trying something new and taking that leap. 🤸🏽♀️ February 9th, Mountain Mojo Group participated in Canyon Coolers Cooler Races to benefit Flagstaff Family Food Center: Food Bank and Kitchen. Kenny and I volunteered as tributes to ride down an epic sled led and created by Austin Leggett, friends, and our Mojo Team. What an experience! This was our second race where we won and COMPLETELY wiped out. So many folks had came up to disclose their fears of never doing anything like that cause of the risk. Shooken up after the fall, we had zero concerns to do it again because of the following: ✨️ Support from our team! We knew we were in good hands and as nerve wrecked as we were, we knew it'd workout. ✨️ Facing the unknown. You miss a 100% of the shots you don't take and we weren't going to back out and NOT find out how we could do! ✨️ Opportunity. Yes, this was a super fun fundraiser BUT it was still a fundraiser nonetheless that went to a great cause. We did not want to miss out on the opportunity to not only support FFFC, but to partake in an experience with our community to strengthen our ties and support one another! Be rational of course, but don't let Fear make your decisions. Be brave to step out of your comfort zone and embrace the support you have, Fear of the unknown and don't miss opportunity!
