🌟 Exciting Opportunity for Clinicians! We're thrilled to introduce the 'Quality of Life' Study, which evaluates the real impact of full-mouth rehabilitation treatments on patient well-being. By employing the Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP 14), this study aims to uncover measurable improvements in patients' lives post-treatment. 🔍 Who Can Participate? This study is for you if you're a clinician performing full-mouth rehabilitation treatments, either with regular, zygomatic, pterygoid, or nasal implants. We're looking at patient progress post-surgery intervals: 7 days, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, and 3 years. 📈 Why You Should Join: ▪ Personalized Reports: Receive a detailed report on your patient's quality of life improvements for every five patients you enroll. ▪Scientific Collaboration: The study's manuscript will acknowledge all participants submitting at least five patients. Clinicians enrolling the most patients will be recognized as top collaborators in this peer-reviewed study supported by ZAGA Centers. ▪Enhance Patient Care: Contribute to valuable insights that empower and improve patient experience. 👩⚕️👨⚕️ How to Get Involved: Simply fill out the form linked below. You'll then receive detailed instructions via email on enrolling patients and the next steps. We'll handle the rest and update you on your patients' journey throughout the study. Let's make a difference together in patient care and education!🤝 Begin your participation in the 'Quality of Life' Study now: https://bit.ly/48v51XG #qualityoflifestudy #dentalhealth #fullmouthrehabilitation #scientificcollaboration #advancepatientcare #joinnow #patientexperienceimproved #patientexperience #smile24h #zagacenters #patientcare #implantdentistry #patientdentalcare

In this Medscape article, our own Errol Ozdalga, MD weighs in on why communicating and connecting with patients is such an important skill for physicians: "I've noticed there are certain types of doctors who are very intelligent but don't have that communication connection with patients," he says. "I teach medical students that it's an art to talk to people, to be sensitive in terms of what you're hearing, and make sure you care about their agenda — not just your own." https://bit.ly/4buVAZO #healthcare #meded #medicine

Improving patient engagement has always been a priority in my practice, and I’ve found that focusing on patient education is key to achieving this. Here are three strategies that have made a real difference: 1. Simplify Medical Jargon: Instead of overwhelming patients with complex medical terms, I break down information into simple, easy-to-understand language. This helps patients grasp their conditions and treatment options without feeling lost. 2. Use Visual Aids: Visual aids like diagrams, videos, and infographics can make complex procedures and concepts more accessible. They not only help in explaining treatments but also keep patients engaged and informed. 3. Encourage Questions and Participation: I always make it a point to invite questions and foster an environment where patients feel comfortable actively participating in their care. This interaction helps clarify doubts and ensures they feel heard and valued. These strategies have significantly improved how my patients understand and engage with their care. Find additional insights in my newsletter: https://pxl.to/AD/arbfg5e What techniques do you use to educate your patients and keep them engaged? We conducted an MDT (Multidisciplinary Team) session with four clinical specialists: a cardiologist, urologist, neurologist, and therapist. For the patient, this essentially replaces the need to spend a week visiting different clinics due to mismatched schedules or wasting an entire day if the schedules align. However, the key takeaway from this experience isn’t just the reduction in time spent or the economic efficiency we achieved. The real significance lies in the shift in approach and the improvement in clinical effectiveness. The notion that we should treat the patient, not just the disease, is often attributed to Hippocrates. Yet, in practice, a comprehensive view of a clinical case is more the exception than the rule. We are striving to make this approach a daily routine—technologically, economically, and methodologically. It’s gratifying when something that was once just an abstract idea becomes a tangible reality that brings value. The idea that Digital MDTs should become as routine in outpatient care as measuring blood pressure is still a vision, but it’s now a vision backed by practice. Additionally, we observed another positive effect that we didn’t anticipate, but I’ll discuss that separately. This version maintains the professional tone and clearly communicates the key points to a business audience.
