5 Reasons I'm Investing In Apartment Buildings

  1. Incomes aren't keeping up with single family home prices, forcing forcing folks to rent instead of buy. This creates healthy demand for apartment units.

3. The Wall Street Journal reports that construction for new housing is falling off a cliff. Why? High interest rates over the past 2 years has made it very difficult for builders to do what they do best - build.  This further exacerbates the housing shortage.

4. Income is, however, keeping up with rent increases (good sign for investors in apartments) according to the US Census Bureau. So this means tenants on the whole are comfortably affording their rent.



5. Strong household formation (which also contributes to demand for apartment units). Shout out to Eric Finnigan for sharing this data recently from the Federal Reserve.
