Thanks, Adam - Traditionally, we find that folks slap a photo of their city's skyline on the banner... sure, the picture looks fresh, and you're proud of your town, but save the panoramic cityscapes for your bonus room at home. Treat the banner like valuable real estate - highlight your company, your offerings, and/or your accomplishments!

Great insight on this. Recruiters look at profiles all day long. Many times, I'm just looking for something that is different in the sea of sameness. I've bought many bottles of great wine solely based on the label. Set yourself quarterly reminders to update your LI profile, banner and profile picture. I know someone that could help you with the last one!
