7 Things To Know for Starlight's 2024 Season

The 2024 Season at Starlight is right around the corner!

There are some changes to our normal event policies here at Starlight. See what's new below!

👜 New Bag Policy

To provide a safer environment for our guests and to expedite entry into the venue there is a new clear bag policy.

Now allowed into the venue:

• Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags that do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
• 1 gallon clear zip-seal bag
• Small clutch bags that are smaller than 4.5" x 6.5". These do not need to be clear.
• An exception will be made for medically necessary items.

🚗 Parking

Parking at Starlight is more colorful this year! We have worked with our friends over at the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium to create new shared parking signage.

A few of the parking lot updates:

• Zebra Lot is now Yellow Lot
• Cheetah Lot is now Red Lot
• Lot A is now Blue Lot

We're also happy to announce that general parking is again included in ticket prices this year.

🚨 Performance Alert

To keep our audience updated in delays of weather, traffic, or other issues, Starlight has implemented Statusfy . Updates will appear in real time on the Statusfy app or on our website at kcstarlight.com/alerts.

🕗 Gate Entry Times

For all Broadway performances, the gates and Applause Club will open at 6:30 p.m. The seating bowl opens at 7:00 p.m. and the show will begin at 8:00 p.m.

For all Concerts, gate and show time vary per event. Please check the time printed on your concert ticket!

🥤 Dining + Concessions

Dining pre-show at the Applause Club now includes seating inside AND outside on the patio. All dining has been moved to one option available to all guests.

And coming soon for concessions is the Starlight Express Market! This season, a new grab-and-go option will become available to purchase snacks, beverages, and alcohol. We'll announce more news on this soon!

🎟️ Digital Tickets

New last summer, Starlight launched a digital ticketing platform for Broadway performances. New THIS summer, that system will now apply to all ticket holders — including concert goers! Visit the link below to learn how to access your digital tickets.

🌠 Capital Campaign

We have launched our $40 million Uniquely KC Campaign to further our mission of connecting our community through live arts experiences that entertain, inspire, and engage. Through venue improvements and programs expansion, this campaign will enhance the Starlight tradition and extend it to new participants of all ages.
