Actions to shift the direction of your health...

Hello My Lovely,

 Are you tired of me talking about weight?

 I am!

 I worked with 2 different business coaches this year and it dawned on me in my week off that over the year, I’d allowed my message to be shifted ever slightly until I didn’t feel like I was talking to the right person that I truly wanted to work with.

 So, some soul-searching happened for me.

 I was journaling a lot to see what would come up.

 And what came up is…

 …that I show women who are unhappy with their health how to make simple tweaks that fit their life so that they can stop stressing about their health and let weight loss be a happy side effect.

 I think there’s a large number of women that have followed a trendy or fad weight loss program with the intention of losing unwanted weight.

A program that promised an easy fix by using this pill or that product or this workout.

 A method that was a quick fix…

 …nothing that was going to be an action forever.

 For 30+ years of my life my weight was a constant yo-yo because of these methods.🪀

 And I always equated my desired weight with health.

 If I could reach that weight, I would “be healthy”.

 But that’s not necessarily true.

 What if I could show you how to focus on being healthy and let weight loss be the true side effect?

 My trip down the rabbit hole of making “healthy” my #1 priority happened when I had a medical scare caused by prescription medications.🐇

 As a middle-aged woman, I was under the assumption that we are all doomed to have a chronic illness or two (or three).  

 With the way my body responded to prescriptions, I was worried about the risk I would be taking if I had to be prescribed the medications used to manage the plethora of age-related chronic illness options.

 Managing my health to insure I was in my best health became my goal. If I lose weight - good. If I didn’t, at least I would “be healthy”.

 I started implementing some simple actions that I was learning. Actions that I didn’t expect to see results from…

 …but I was willing to give them a try.

 I was happily surprised when I started seeing positive results.🤭

 I wondered why I had never been taught how my body was designed to work?

 Which led me to wonder who else might be struggling because they’re also missing this same knowledge.

 That’s why today I want to share 3 simple actions that you can take to start shifting the direction of your health.

 You might find it helpful to put your fork down and breath between bites.
