Canadian and European forests stand for large, comparable challenges. For this reason, with the aim to intensify collaboration with the west of Canada, Bas Lerink and I went to Canada early October. In our group in Wageningen we do the same type of modelling as the CBM modelling group on Vancouver Island. We also visited Mosaic Forest Management and UBC and Sierra Club BC
