Blog #5 - Art for Wildlife - Let's Create a beautiful place to all kind of kinds
'Failure isn't fatal but failing to care might be, hold a mirror to your believe - Kat
It's time to take our responsibility in the reality we believe to create is true. #Wildlife matters, decide how you want wildlife animals to feel and start believing that your care creates a difference'
There's a story about an elephant and a rope I keep as a beautiful reminder for myself, to remember not to forget to care and to do something with that knowledge.
Maybe you do not know the story about the elephant and the rope, just click on this elephant on a rope to watch this story on youtube.

The moral of this story is what you 'Believe' creates a huge impact in the life you create. If we take this one step further let's not only learn not to give up for ourselves but also not for others. The Elephant Rope is a Short Story to inspire and motivate you. The story of an elephant which tells how we are stuck with our conditioning and how we are stuck with our own false beliefs . Failure is part of learning; we should never give up the struggle in life and learn to dance with that we have learned. I will give a link to watch this whole story in the comments down below. The moral of this story is what you 'Believe' creates a huge impact in the life you create and if we take this one step further let's not only learn not to give up for ourselves but also not for others and create new believes. Many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before. Many of us are being held back by old, outdated beliefs that no longer serve us. Many of us avoid trying something new because of a limiting belief and still many of us are being held back by someone else’s limiting beliefs.
This morning I received a reply to a message on a post of @Tara Thomas. Her message to me was so powerful and kind that I decided to write something about it. Tara remembered me of the voiceless.
Let me explain and tell you my story. One day a long time ago I was walking in a park with my dog when I passed by a lake.
Something drew me to look at the waterside, first I did not see anything but I fellt I had to look again and than I saw it, a movement in the water. Something told me to take a closer look and I am glad that I followed my intuition, otherwise I probably would have just walked by. I realized watching closer there was a head just above the water, a head of a seagull, who was almost drowning to dead. Before he went under again I grabbed him and tried to get him out of the water, his feet were stuck in a fishing rope which had cut of the blood circulatory to his feet, his feather pack was totally wet and he was under feed. Because his feet were hurt he could not stand or walk and he was too tired to fly. I decided to take him home. When I came home with this seagul I received a lot of resistence of my surroundings, how could I think I could save that bird and I also got some questions why I was going to do so much effort for just a bird. I decided that I wanted to believe that I could because this mattered to this bird and to me any life matters. This bird must have been for a long while in the water and did not give up, so he needed me for what he could not do. So I took care of him after taking the rope out of his feet and after disinfecting his wounds caused by the rope of this fishing line. I massaged his feet many times during the day and I made sure I kept him warm and dry and feed him with a pipet because he was to weak to eat or drink. After some days due to the care, the warmth, the massages and the food and drinks he got much better and tried to stand by himself again. After a week I brought him back to the park where I found him. I remember he flew up but before he flew away he turned, flew a whole round just above my head as if he wanted to say thank you and than flew away. It was a magical moment I will always remember and never forget. So I created my Kats Original 'Love Flight'
This memory sometimes pops right up into my head, it always brings a smile to my face. And it does more than that, it's also a reminder to me never to forget that everything we want to create is us. That we need to give humanity our voice for those who cannot speak. What I mean is the story about the elephant and the rope, which tells about the believe in ourselves and what we as humans have the potential, ability and skills and unmatching strength to do everything we can. This means we also can decide to take action and care for those who can't and this also means we can decide to take care of the voiceless and make sure they keep their beautiful place in this world too and a life worthwhile living.
We need to be kind and take a stand as well, this means not only to ourselves and those we love but also to those we do not know. The story about the elephant and the rope I therefore always keep as a beautiful reminder for myself and also to remember not to forget to care and do something with that knowledge. If we believe we will achieve and my wish is that we use our heart to speak and care to help those who need it, because we simply can.
I am glad to see there are people on LinkedIn like @Tara Thomas and also @Ton Veerbeek for I know regularly take stand for the voiceless especially the animals and wildlife. Often they give it their attention in their posts to show people we need to open our eyes, to show we care and to make sure to believe we can create another reality if we truly want to. How beautiful it will be to start being kind to all kind of kinds. Kind for those we love and are nearby. Often we see videos pass by on LinkedIn about the most beautiful creatures on earth most of us love to see that it brings a smile to peoples faces to see this freedom and beauty. All know it is necessary to protect them against abuse, pollution and poaching etc. Too often we see animals and wildlife animals in need, not taken care of, often people shut their eyes because of their believe that we can't create another reality. I believe it's the reality we think we believe to be the reality that is true. That's why things do not change and people keep believing their care would not make a difference. It's time to stop hiding ourselves behind the walls of deny that what we believe to be true is true, the day we decide we want to create the world to be a better place for all kind of kinds and we start to care and believe our care will make a difference we will create this reality; a more beautiful world in which our wealth is our kindness, a turn for all the voiceless.
How beautiful will it be to be aware we need to care and truly do something to break the false beliefs that it's not our business, because it is our business. Let's decide today that it's never too late to start being kind and make a start to win kindness in life and #wildlife back.
I decided I care about the voiceless and wildlife animals in particular and believe as an artist and human being there's a way for me too, to create a change in the reality as I see it. Therefore I recently started creating a serie of artworks digitally painted and created out of photographs of wildlife animals. In this way I wish to make an attempt to you to become more aware that they need all of us more to care. 'Wildlife matters, decide how you want them to feel' We can start to care & make a difference together.
The first artwork I created in my series of artworks about wildlife is called:
'Hold a mirror to An elephants believe'.
It's an exclusive and very special artwork; and a reminder for all of us, it's a one of a kind, there will only be one artwork of it in the whole world , I created it out of a photograph and painted it with digital pencils. Let us make sure there will be many more elephants out there in future without a rope, free elephants and all other free wildlife creatures and many more people free from the beliefs which create not the reality as they would love to see their world living in.
In the next couple of weeks I will present each week another artwork in my wildlife serie on LinkedIn. From this artwork I will design a special and unique T-Shirt and other unique items. Let it be your gift to wear for care and share with the world, it will be your message to the voiceless that you care. By wearing this T-Shirt you spread the message and ask other to care too.
It will be awesome if you share this blog and message and pass it through to others and leave a comment. By clicking this link: http://bit.ly/Art-for-Wildlife-wear-for-care-T-Shirts-and-more-by-KatjaKoevoet
Or just by a click on the image above! You are only one step away of wearing this special designed T-Shirt. On a regular base there will be another special designed T-Shirt and other unique items with a Wildlife design on it from one of these Kats Original Wildlife artworks on it.

4yA very worthwhile post. We limit our learning and cut ourselves off from the revelatory process when we tether our minds, when we drive stakes and say to ourselves I will believe this much but no more I will go only this far in the developmental process but no further. Katja, Thank you for the investment of time that you put forth in writing this post. You are an artist with words as well as with paint. I too rescued a seagull entangled in fishing line. Im still not sure who was the more blessed by that experience, me or the bird.
