Happy Egyptian New Year 6265 | Today, 11 September 2023, marks the beginning of the Egyptian year 6265. The ancient Egyptian calender is one of the first calendars known to mankind and was based on the solar cycle of 365 days per year.

TODAY IN HISTORY | Today, Monday, September 11th, 2023 marks the 22 year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon, and United Airlines Flight 93 which crashed in suburban Pennsylvania. A day that changed the world as we knew it.

Patriot Day is observed on September 11 in the US as a remembrance of the lives lost on that September morning.

World Suicide Prevention Day is observed on September 10th each year. This day is dedicated to raising awareness about suicide, promoting mental health, and providing support for individuals who may be struggling with suicidal thoughts or facing mental health challenges.

Observing World Suicide Prevention Day is a reminder of the importance of mental health support and community efforts to help those in need.

And because it's crucial to continue supporting mental health awareness and suicide prevention efforts throughout the year, not just on this designated day, Women of Brazil in collaboration with Women of Egypt created the booklet: Awareness and Suicide Prevention in Egypt. You can Read the booklet online or Download it.
