BRICS, AUKUS and... IPEF (Iberoamerica, Portugal, Spain and Philippines)

The multipolar world that Russia and China talk about so much was already created and implemented by Spain and Portugal many years ago. It is the Ibero-American community of nations, including Equatorial Guinea and the Philippines. Speaking of the Philippines, China warned Manila this February that it would face consequences for daring to congratulate the new Taiwanese prime minister, the anti-Beijing William Lai, who won the elections on the island. In other words, you can no longer even congratulate the winner of a free election because China's arrogance prevents it from recognizing a democratic victory

. The Philippine nation is struggling to maintain democracy between Islamism, communism and American "protection." I say protection, in quotation marks, because the alignment of the Philippines with the West, which dates back not to World War II, but to the Spanish presence in the Philippines that turned it into not a colony, but a Spanish region with Filipino deputies in Madrid, that alignment, I say, has been unequivocal.

There is no room for a pin between China and India, and both are encouraging Putin's Russia, which remains the world's leading nuclear power, despite the fact that the war in Ukraine is causing its internal decomposition. For the rest, they know that Moscow is the West.

Let's go back to BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa). It is the old Marxist totalitarianism, this time united with the pantheistic religion of Delhi and the vengeful unionist Lula da Silva, who is taking power in the world. They are already a real alternative to the United States of the doddering Biden, and I fear they already surpass them, both economically and militarily. In addition, Lula has put Latin America on a platter for them, and the former territory evangelized by Spaniards and Portuguese is becoming the new laboratory for neo-communism, that doctrine that no longer seeks violent revolution but intends to come to power through the polls and then manipulate democracy, especially with the most liberticidal instrument of the 21st century: gender ideology.

Putin does not rule in BRICS, Jinping does, and I fear him even more because he is even more anti-Christian than Narendra Modi. Lula is just the useful fool, while the venomous Saudi Bin Salman keeps getting closer to BRICS. The IPEF bloc (Ibero-America, Portugal, Spain and the Philippines) is the one that should be put on the table and there Spain is the one that can lead the whole process. It is no coincidence that Aukus, the trilateral security partnership for the Indo-Pacific region between Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States, was announced after Brexit on September 15, 2021.

China's financial rot in Africa continues to advance. Beijing's energy commitments last year were the greenest in annual terms since the launch of the Belt and Road Initiative. Around 34% of these commitments were for solar, wind and hydroelectric power. Africa became the top recipient of Chinese commitments under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) in 2023 with a total portfolio of $21.7 billion, according to a report released on February 5 by The Griffith Asia Institute, a think tank affiliated with Griffith University in Australia in collaboration with the Green Finance Development Center (GFDC), a think tank affiliated with Fudan University in China.

The report states that Chinese commitments covered 212 projects in dozens of countries around the world that joined the initiative launched by Beijing in the fall of 2013. The total value of these Beijing commitments abroad reached $92.4 billion, compared to $74.5 billion last year and $57.5 billion a year earlier. The report also indicates that China's cumulative commitments under the initiative have reached $1.053 trillion since the launch of this ambitious project, which aims to improve trade links between Asia, Europe, Africa and beyond by building infrastructure such as ports, railways, airports, and even industrial parks and power plants. Neither weapons nor money: the world is controlled through philosophy. As the Pacific is now more important than West Africa for the Pentagon and Taiwan and Israel are more important than Ukraine.
