Business Analyst (Center of Excellence) - Manufacturing or automotive background preferred - Remote (may need to go to the office once in a while-Texas)
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This position is with the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Center of Excellence (COE) which provides enterprise-wide support for SAP, Ariba, and Governance Risk Compliance (GRC). The focus is on improving the user experience, kaizen of business processes and system performance improvements. The COE is responsible for ensuring that the implemented solutions support and stay aligned with the needs of the business.
SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED
• Gather User Story requirements. • Produce Functional Specifications. • Document current state inputs, outputs, processes and data, future state process vision templates, user stories, requirements, key design decisions (KDDs), and change impacts. • Work with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand business processes and identify fit/gaps. • Design solutions for identified gaps with SAP functionality. • Identify integrations points and collaborate with ERP workstreams. • Perform data analysis and map legacy data to SAP system requirements. • Simplify the integration of legacy systems into SAP. • Identify and deliver out of the box SAP functions. • Develop training materials, process maps, process recordings, Troubleshooting Guides and other User Guides. • Perform Functional Testing, including script writing and test script execution. • Facilitate business users in Functional Testing as well as User Acceptance Testing. • Support business through User Acceptance Testing and post launch Hyper Care activities. • Develop materials for Sprint Planning sessions. • Perform cutover validation and deployment activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Self-starter and ability to work independently. • Strong organizational skills by meeting deadlines and carrying out duties efficiently. • SAP functional experience preferably with S4 Hana. • Previous experience in large corporations as a Business Analyst with a background in Accounting and Finance processes. • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve. • Effective communication (written and oral). Ability to overcome organizational resistance to change. • Scrum/Agile experience • MS Office Suite • Understanding of RICEFW objects and configurations. • Understanding of business blue prints and system design (SAP Legacy Integrations, etc.). • Manufacturing or automotive background preferred
