"Call for drought-affected people to visualize the effect of the lack of freshwater with mini-documentaries"
The lack of effective solutions to the freshwater shortage for irrigation water, which constitutes over 98% of the global freshwater demand, clearly shows that the lack of irrigation water for food production and biodiversity on production lands has not yet, been categorized as a global problem.
Therefore, the situation requires that EVERYONE with this problem articulates and visualizes their own daily life - if enough people make a real effort, the authorities cannot ignore it. Especially not if the following get respectively a new article every sixth day as well as this calls every two months until they respond with effective means that make the necessary difference.
Minidocs can be simple or long as the one below - regardless of the length of the video and the number of participants, precise descriptions have the same effect on the understanding of the current situation - this is important to remember.
As the research clearly visualizes, there are no mini-docs available from ordinary people that show the difficulties that drought and desertification create for them in their lives as farmers - why shouldn't we do something effective about this misery?
A "Minidoc" can consist of one or more photos or a short video as well as a few words either spoken or written.
The Minidoc MUST be published via the photographer's own LinkedIn channel. This is to ensure as much as possible against frauds, spam, and ransomware and to document the origin.
