Change Your Habits
I disconnected with someone for being rude. He used the "Funny" emoji which should never be used on a stranger's post when someone fretted about where America is headed next.
Dad jokes are male menopause. I could forgive his Dad jokes. Berating women who did what they could and not have to raise their children under the rule of a convicted rapist was a bridge too far.
It happened with another man who laughed at a woman's concern about where the country is going. This is a man I stopped commenting with because the last time I did he tagged a woman who berated me for being too vulgar. She had an eggplant emoji in her profile yet I was too suggestive.
It felt like I got Chlamydia after making a comment. Don't go there. If I post a comment and that person immediately tags a stranger to slut shame me- you haven't been shamed until someone with an eggplant emoji next to their name says you are too suggestive.
Life needs changing. Luckily I have not had any other rude people who went so far I never want to see their ugly faces and bad attitudes in my feed again. How have my habits changed? I stopped watching the news.
It doesn't keep me informed. During the pandemic I switched from ESPN to CNN. ESPN had nothing to report and I watched the death toll rise. There was something soothing about Rosemary Church reporting the news overnight.
Now there are bunch of panel shows and everyone says exactly what you will expect. I don't want to hear about an energy drain. The media enables bad behavior so I can find better things to do.

Let's see what progress can be made without the noise in the background. Watching television before work usually leads me to those pointless softcore movies. They are nothing like relationships. The men are silent and the women make too much noise.
All the more reason to turn off the television. God forbid you turn one of those movies on in a dialogue scene. It's not The Royal Shakespeare Company. Isn't that where the seventh James Bond should come from? I doubt the producers have any desire to make more movies.
The series did not end on a high note if it's over. I have ideas where the series could go. They don't care. Why not hire Antony Hopkins to play the villain and play on the age gap? The character was created because Ian Fleming had trouble with authority figures at Eton.
Adults always they are better than children. Peter Dinklage would make an effective villain as well. Bring in two women- one who is sacrificed and one who helps James Bond resolve the issue of the film.
We can think about the movies that could be. For years George Lucas was annoyed by suggestions of where Star Wars should go next. Could that have been any worse than the prequels and the rehash sequels which were a midlife crisis? When my New York Times obituary is written there will be no mention that I never watched Episode IX- Everyone is Related and Strangely, English.
Don't know, don't care. I only watched The Last Jedi because I was sequestered in Bangkok. It was better than being taunted by cabdrivers and eight thousand masseuses as I was simply trying to walk down the street.
There is a lot to do. I shall continue traveling. Alright- I won't visit Russia. It's too easy to get arrested over some nonsense or to "Fall out a window." So I won't visit The Hermitage. Most importantly I have a job and can work consistently. When that is the case; the economy is just fine.
