Chapter 1: My guide to achieving success
A lot of people say they want to be successful, but do we really know what success means to us? Success can mean different things to different people, while to some it can mean success in financial terms, to others it can mean success in relationships or health.
Let’s break these down to understand how we can prioritize our goals and achieve ultimate success.
Let’s start with health, think of it this way, if your health is poor it becomes difficult to achieve and concentrate on anything in life. So, health should generally take priority for everyone because if you have good health you can aim at other aspects of success with more zeal and enthusiasm. Not only will you not be able to work to be better off financially, but if your health is poor it puts strain on your family and relationships as well.
We see families where one or members of the family is sick and that in a way puts the whole family under a lot of pressure and makes the relations in general strained and tense. On the other hand, if you have good health you will be able to have better relations and work more efficiently to be more financially successful.
Your second priority should be to forge good relationships, you should be content and happy. Because if you have good relations and good health you can easily focus on the other aspects in life, like work and finances. Haven’t we all experienced this that if you have even a single strained relation, it is like a nagging noise in the back of your head, which drives away your focus from other aspects and makes your success in those dimensions less likely?
The third priority in life should be money and finance. If you have good health and good relations you will generally be happy and content and that way you can work better and achieve your financial success. If you are content you can focus on your work and that way you can climb the ladder to success. Good health and relationships make it much easier to generate more financial wealth as you are more focused on your work because the other aspects of your life are sailing smoothly.
If you think, you may realize that money is actually not that important, it is just a means to fulfill your necessities. So don’t really measure your success by the amount of money you have in your banks.
Your takeaway should be that you need to prioritize what is important for you in life and what you need to achieve first so that the other things fall into place. You just don't need to think about success, you need to think about how you can align your goals and priorities in life to be able to live stress-free and that will map your journey of success.
A healthy and fit body, along with great relationships with everyone in general will help you to feel far more accomplished and then you can easily focus on your work with absolute dedication to creating financial abundance. Once you remove clutter from your life and have a clearer headspace you will essentially have more time to do things and this will help you increase your productivity and take you one step closer to your success.
However, the scale of success should never be compared with your peers, your colleagues, your relatives, your friends, but it should be unique to YOU!
It’s your journey, after all, you decide how you wish to make it a success story worth celebrating.
This is a very interesting take on the definition and pathway to succsss. Thank you for sharing!
