Consider your experience with LinkedIn and the power of algorithms in the social media world.

The Google monster appeared like a fuzzy friend. Then it became a software platform that ate the world. Think about the impact of social media on you and your business.

Do you know the hammer concept? If you've sold anything to anybody it's simple to get. Without the money people no manna from heaven. Those with it protect the income flow.

Big money controls social media. The Masters of the Universe plan what's next for us. Entrepreneurs, innovators, and original thinkers don't get invited to most private islands.

Page has largely avoided the public eye since he and co-founder Sergey Brin left Google

Ranking high on Google did not come by paying Larry for page placement. The wisdom of crowds decided as technology read intent through mining desire and placing content.

Winning on Google was simple. Feed the beast. Put on the white hat. Don't wear black ones into town shooting up the place. Bad behavior gets punished. Google runs the O.K. Corral.

Content was King. Programmatic traders rose. More math, better math automated. The digital teams that got the marketing, attribution, and media allocations balanced crushed it.

Daniel Roth from LinkedIn hanging out with Richard Branson who cultivates ideas on his island.

Success on LinkedIn came first from using it like a lead generation channel. I built a company. This was before social selling coaches popularized the term pitch slapping.

The next phase was the first pandemic year. My posting pod made people money. I got connected into a lot of places, learned new business models, and many profited from it.

Finally, LinkedIn became my platform of choice to build events, relationships, and partnerships. That's a transitional play running as the monsters fade into the background.
