LinkedIn’s AI Boost for Sales Pros
LinkedIn is making life easier for sales professionals with a new AI-powered feature in Sales Navigator called 'Lead IQ.' This tool gives you a quick summary of a potential contact’s experience, achievements, interests, and activities — all in one click. According to LinkedIn, this will help you craft the perfect outreach message or prep for meetings with key insights at your fingertips. If you’re looking to make better business connections, this could be a game-changer!
LinkedIn's new Lead IQ and Account IQ are like having a crystal ball for B2B sales, minus the incense and mysticism. These features will save sales professionals time; and allow them to adopt a more personalised approach. In a world where 11 decision-makers per deal can feel like herding cats, tools like these give sales teams the edge to craft hyper-relevant, human-first connections. A good example of how AI can be used to enhance humanity not replace it!
Meta’s Unified 'Views' Metric Across Facebook and Instagram
Meta is simplifying its analytics game. Facebook is now adopting Instagram’s approach, making 'Views' the main metric for all content. Whether it’s Reels, photos, or text posts, 'Views' will now represent the number of times your content was displayed. Meta says this shift will give creators a clearer picture of their distribution and engagement, all while aligning with their push for more video content. One metric to rule them all!

Considering how much Instagram and Facebook have changed as social media platforms over the last few years, it is expected to see their metrics reflect that. Instagram have stated that as a result of the continuous evolvement of the platform's algorithm, 'Views' and 'Sends per Reach' should now be the primary focus of creators. Therefore, integrating 'Views' on Facebook alongside Instagram, has the potential to modernise and improve the way we perceive content performance success!
Instagram’s New Free-Form Collage Tool
Instagram is testing a new collage feature for Stories. Unlike the rigid Layout tool, this new version lets you freely arrange multiple photos from your camera roll into custom designs. It’s a fresh way to spice up your Stories and get creative with visuals. Watch out for this feature in your app soon!
I’m excited to see Instagram testing this free-form collage feature. It’s a refreshing change from the usual rigid layouts, giving users the freedom to get creative and showcase their photos in a more personalised way. This could really help Stories stand out and feel more authentic. Can’t wait to try it out myself!
Get to Work
To stand out on social media, frame your posts around stories. Instead of just sharing a tip or promoting a product, weave it into a relatable narrative. For example, share a quick behind-the-scenes moment, a customer success story, or a challenge you overcame. Stories humanise your brand, making your content more memorable and engaging. Pair it with a strong call-to-action to drive interaction!
