ELLISDON NEWS

Three EllisDon projects have won at The Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships (CCPPP) 2022 National Awards for Innovation and Excellence in P3s. The Royal Inland Hospital - Phil & Jennie Gaglardi Tower won the Infrastructure - Award of Merit, the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital received the Service Delivery - Award of Merit and the Infrastructure - Silver Award was awarded to Highway 7 West Bus Rapid Transit. Learn more here.

EllisDon Community Builders (EDCB) is pleased to announce its partnership with Habitat for Humanity Canada to provide local Habitat for Humanity organizations across Canada with affordable housing advisory services to accelerate homeownership projects. The services will help local Habitat organizations evaluate how to best build for the most impact on specific pieces of land, with key information and advice on planning restrictions, permitted density, and potentially available financing. EllisDon partnered with the MLSE Foundation and their ‘Change the Game’ campaign to deliver the Sheguiandah First Nation a brand new recreation area. EllisDon’s Southwestern Ontario Area team donated $20,000 to the project along with services and supplies. In addition, through assembling a group of like-minded organizations, EllisDon ensured that almost half of the scope of work was completed by local Indigenous-owned companies.
