A Conversation with Lei Redding
Lei Redding, President of Redding Private Client, inspires us. Having been in the insurance industry for nearly two decades, the Atlanta, GA resident believes in coaching and building the next generation of leaders and keeping sincerity and loyalty at the forefront of her professional and personal life.
Q: What role has mentorship played in your career?
Lei: Over the years, I’ve learned a mentor shares and guides in a way that lifts up the mentee to their fullest potential. Mentorship is a way of “passing the torch” to the next generation of leaders. It’s about building with someone, followed by releasing that well-coached mentee into a future of success. I’ve been blessed to have a few special mentors in my life, both men and women, who have given me the freedom to hone and apply my skillset while helping me blossom into my current position.
Q: What values are you committed to?
Lei: The most important values in my personal and professional life are sincerity and loyalty. Over the years, I have endeavored to treat my clients with sincerity through frank conversations and advice focused on their best interest. I’ve made wonderful connections in this industry including long lasting friendships with other agents. I’ve also found joy in helping each other succeed instead of trying to run the race alone.
Q: What is your idea of adventure?
Lei: My idea of adventure is traveling. I love to travel. Exploring new places and cultures energizes me. From architecture and art to food and wine, I never tire of experiencing and learning something new.
