Viasat Has been selected by the United States Department of Defense’s DIU (Defense Innovation Unit) to deliver highly resilient command and control (C2) connectivity in support of the Replicator initiative.
Replicator aims to deliver large masses of uncrewed, all-domain attritable autonomous (ADA2) systems for warfighter operations support, and aligns with the overall U.S. Department of Defense effort to accelerate delivery of innovative capabilities to the warfighter at speed and scale.
Under the DIU Opportunistic, Resilient & Innovative Expeditionary Network Topology (ORIENT) project award, Viasat will provide a Multi-Domain Uncrewed Secure Integrated Communications (MUSIC) architecture with software-defined networking as the network component to enable the seamless and resilient connectivity of autonomous systems using multi-transport pathways.
Hexagon | NovAtel has released the GAJT-310, the lowest size, weight, and power (SWaP) GNSS Anti-Jam Technology (GAJT) in the company’s line yet. The GAJT line is a battle-proven solution for assured positioning, navigation and timing (A-PNT) that protects against hostile radio frequency interference on land, at sea and in the air.
GNSS signal jamming is a considerable threat in today’s unstable geopolitical environment. Almost everything users count on today depends on GNSS PNT, including communications, transportation, agriculture, the Internet and banking.
To stay ahead of the jamming threat, affordable, practical and easily implementable solutions are required. The new GAJT-310 provides users with the latest powerful anti-jam technology with low latency in a smaller device.
BAE Systems has been awarded a £133 million contract to further mature the Striker® II Helmet Mounted-Display (HMD) capability alongside a programme of flight testing.
The Striker II HMD is one of the world’s most advanced fighter aircraft helmets. It uses the latest helmet display technologies to integrate its all-digital night vision system and daylight-readable colour display.

Data is displayed directly onto the pilot’s helmet visor, providing them with mission-critical information right before their eyes. The new contract was awarded by the four-nation Eurofighter consortium – Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK. BAE Systems’ engineers will work to mature the helmet’s capability.
Skydweller Aero Inc., a provider of Perpetual Flight® uncrewed solar aircraft (USA), is continuing its autonomous maritime patrol aircraft (AMPA) flight tests of the Skydweller unmanned aerial system (UAS) with operational military payloads integrated onboard.
The recent flights build upon the company’s successful autonomous flight trials conducted in late summer and fall 2024. Despite the challenging Gulf Coast weather—including two hurricanes—the company completed six flights between August 22 and September 22, four of which were fully autonomous.
The longest missions lasted 16 and 22.5 hours respectively, demonstrating the aircraft’s operational effectiveness over land and offshore environments, as well as at altitudes of up to 33,000 feet.
FlySight will integrate the OPENSIGHT suite into the AW101/CH-149 SAR “Cormorant” helicopter modernization program, complementing Leonardo’s advanced HELIAWARENESS avionics system.
This integration is part of a comprehensive upgrade initiative by the Canadian Department of National Defence and Leonardo, aimed at modernizing and expanding Canada’s fleet of AW101/CH-149 SAR “Cormorant” helicopters. The program seeks to elevate the already exceptional performance of these aircraft in challenging Search and Rescue (SAR) missions.
FlySight will provide Leonardo with the OPENSIGHT suite, a state-of-the-art situational awareness solution that will be integrated into the HELIAWARENESS system.
