Drinking Water - Reasons and how to drink water in the right way
Drinking 8 to 10 glass water is very essential for our body as we all know. Our body is made up about 60% of water and our blood contains about 90% of water. Water is required to function our body properly, as Urination, Sweating, Bowel Movement and more. And it is more required in hot weather as our body is easily dehydrated. It not only hydrate our body but also gives lots of benefit to our body.
In day to day life, drinking water we take, so lightly as we are focus on other activities, we forget the right quantity of water intake. According to the U.S. National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine, the average recommended daily intake of water from both food and drink is:
- Man requires 3.7 liters or 125 ounces
- Woman requires 2.7 liters or 91 ounces
This would be around 15.5 cups for men and just over 11 cups for women. However, around 80 percent of this should come from drinks, including water, and the rest will be from food. Every person's body is different and the intake of drinking water usually vary as their routine activities. Reasons to drink Water
People do focus on the right things, when they have some reasons to do so. I remembered, few years back, I was so busy in my work that I missed the right quantity of water, and as a result I got Acne, headache, felt tired and more. But soon I realized my mistake I made a habit of taking right amount of water, no matter what. Developing habits take some time and later on it is adopted by sub cautious mind. There are numerous reason to drink water that may Shock you:-

The right way of Drinking Water
It's really important for us to know the right way of drinking water. Some times drinking water in a wrong way is not benefitting our body as we expect. Drink water when you are thirsty, but keep remembering the following points-
Important Facts about how to drink water in the following situation-
- Do not gulp water when you are thirsty try to sip water slowly, the reason is when you gulping water, its not taking any saliva of your mouth which is very important to digest food and other benefits, and water passes to the Urination without providing essential nutritients to the body.
- Do not drink water at once after Meal. Your digestive system produce some Acids to break down the food, But when you drink lot of water your all acid wiped out and you feel problem of Gas and if you want to drink water you can take sip one or two time and you can drink plenty of water half an hour before the Meal and one hour after the Meal.
- Do not drink ice cold chilled water, Its not good for your body, when you drink chilled water, it shrink you blood vessel and interrupt your digestive system. Chilled water increase your fat, give you soar throat, Joint Pain, and slow your Heart Rate that may cause heart attack. Better to switch the Habits of drinking water of Room Temperature
- Drinking Water while walking, standing & going is not good for your body as mentioned earlier, it affects your digestion system and joint & muscle pain. When you drink water slowly by taking sip, your body can pass all fluid supply all over the body as your body needs. So take relax and give few minutes in a day to drink water.
- Do not skip drinking water in the morning Routine, when you skip water after you wake up, do brush at once, you flush out all Saliva that is important for your health. At the time you wake up in the Morning, Your mouth is full of Saliva that is beneficial for your the digestion throughout the day. So Better to change the habit of morning routine. Drink one glass water when you wake up so you can get the benefits of Saliva
- Do not drink a glass of Water just before the bed, that may cause Urination Frequently in middle of your sleep and interrupting your sleep may cause Heart attack and stroke. Few sips are fine if you feel thirsty but not whole glass of water or more.
Healthy Tips
- Drink 1 or 2 glass of water, after you wake up in the Morning. You can mix lemon in warm water with honey, if you like, that will give you instant Vitamin C and Antioxidant property that make your immunity system strong.
- If you want to make a habit of drinking water in right Quantity. Start to measure your water intake through bottle. Easy to grab any where, You can mix any fruits & flavor as you like i.e Strawberry, Oranges, Cucumber & Lemon, Mint to get double benefits.
- Coffee, Soda is not included the water intake rather you can switch to herbal tea. You can have fruit Juices and vegetables Juices. avoid Can Juices,
- Drink few sips while doing exercise, do not drink whole glass of water, that time your body is high in temperature
- Excess of everything is not good, Drinking water in excess may cause Water intoxication, that may harm your body. You can check it, by the color of your Urine, if it is yellowish in color, you need to drink more water. if it is white like water, Your body is already hydrated, you don't need to drink more water until you feel thirsty.
