The Dutch people And The People Living in the Other Member States in the EU And In NATO Have Agency Over Their Future, Not Trump Nor Putin.

Just as the people of Ukraine have agency over their futurre, the Dutch people and the people living in the different independent member states in the EU and in NATO have agency power over their future, not Trump nor Putin.

The complacent attitude of our Dutch, EU and NATO 'leaders' outside of Ukraine including our 'defense specialists' since WWII and since the occupation of Crimea is the root cause of our national and European continued dependency on the US and the political color and priorities of the US president for our Dutch, Multi-National & European defense.

Our Dutch and national politicians and 'defense experts' and European leaders in the EU and in NATO are responsible for our national and European defense, for the lack of practical support of Ukraine and for the deplorable state of our own Dutch and NATO-defense in the different member states.

Our Dutch 'leaders' and 'defense specialists' should get their act together and fast instead of looking at Trump & Putin. And take the example of the Ukrainean government and people

1) prepare for war as Ukraine did after 2014 and

2) switch from a talking-strategy to a survival-strategy.

Or step down.

I am a positive realist, but in practice, only the leadership in the UK, in France, in Poland and in a number of other small NATO-countries at the Eastern border seem to have learned that lesson.

That is why I am personally focusing now on how the democratically chosen en not democratically chosen political leaders, 'defense experts' and policy makers in The Netherlands first are ensuring our national defense including mine, my children and my grandchildren and support of the Ukrainean people.

The inconvenient truth is: they are still not doing that. And the citizens of The Netherlands seem to be going towards a kind of 'Munich Agreement' as Chamberlain made with Hitler (see the image above this blog).

The current Dutch Government, members of parlement, our Dutch 'defense-specialists and advisors' and the new Dutch secretary general of NATO , Rutte, seem to be opting for the same strategies as prime minister Chamberlain of the U.K did in September 1938 on óur behalf'. Have ensured 'Peace for our time' in the Munichtreaty with Hitler (see here) as he declared literally on his return to the U.K..

And as the Dutch government and the members of the Dutch Royal family did prior to the invasion of The Netherland, the bombing of the Roterdam City Centre on May 23rd 1940 (see the image above this post), killing 800 civilians and the Dutch surrender to the Nazi's. They designed their own personal survival strategy....they fled to the UK and to Canada. 'Coordinating the resistance' form there.....

My own father decided to stay and be an active member of the Dutch resistance 'during the war' as he always said. While the majority of the remaining Dutch politicians and civil servants played an active role in the 'efficient' transport and destruction of the relative largest majority of our Jewish country men, women and children in comparison with other European countries.
