Participating in physically based activities offers an opportunity to improve fitness levels, reduce stress levels, increase energy, boost your mood, and so much more! Physical activity can range from household chores (i.e., vacuuming, etc.), gardening, biking, walking while talking with a friend on the phone, dancing or any activity that Get You Moving!

The Air Force first flew an ancestor of the Osprey
On May 21, 1959, Major Robert C. Ferry piloted the Bell XV-3 Convertiplane on its first Air Force flight at Edwards Air Force Base. The XV-3 was an experimental tilt rotor aircraft with fixed wings and tail surfaces, and wingtip-mounted rotors for vertical takeoff and landing. This made it the world’s first successful Vertical/Short Take-off and Landing (VSTOL) tilt rotor aircraft, though it never entered production. The XV-3 demonstrated the feasibility of the movable rotor concept, which came to fruition with the V-22 Osprey in the 1980s.
