Egypt’s Arab Organization For Industrialization Explores Renewable Energy Collaboration; Turkey Installs Floating Solar Power Plant and More...

The Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) is actively pursuing enhanced collaboration and expanded investment opportunities with Armenian companies, as discussed during a meeting between Major General Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of AOI, and His Excellency Mr. Hrachya Poladyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Cairo.


In a significant stride towards bolstering its renewable energy portfolio, Turkey has completed the installation of its maiden Floating Solar Power Plant on the surface of the Keban Dam reservoir. The initiative promises not only clean energy production but also substantial water conservation.


During their recent visit to Germany, an Omani delegation, led by Eng Salim bin Nasser al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, toured Siemens Energy’s facilities in Berlin, highlighting the company’s role as a crucial partner in Oman’s energy transition.


The total solar energy capacity in Türkiye surpassed 12,000 megawatts (MW) for the first time by the end of February, reaching 12,425 MW, according to a recent statement from the Energy and Natural Resources Ministry.


A delegation representing Gasunie, a prominent European energy infrastructure company, recently concluded a visit to the Sultanate of Oman aimed at exploring opportunities for collaboration in the green hydrogen sector.
