English Communication & Career Growth

English Communication & Career Growth

Hello My LinkedIn Family,

Today I am going to write something about the importance of English communication and career growth.

To commence with, I have come across many working professionals who have 5 to 15 years of experience and they have been working for various organizations. There is a problem in their career growth and that is nothing but English communication. Even though after working for several years, they couldn't stabilize their career and get a respective package. Honestly speaking, they are masters in their fields but English Speaking underestimates their value in the existing organization and future jobs.

On the other hand, youngsters who have good communication skills, earn a handsome package and start sailing in their careers successfully. This kind of situation happens with many professionals who did their education from a vernacular medium. Actually, it was not their mistake in their schooling time but now time demands you to speak better English. Furthermore, the new joiners who get good salaries can elaborate their work in an effective way but it does not happen for all working professionals. They lack grammar, communication, vocabulary, email writing, and presentation skills.

The best solution to get your package high is to work on your communication skills. If you do not explain what you do, then the organization will not pay you as per your expectation. As it is rightly said, " The people who communicate nicely can sell the stones but the people who are weak in communication cannot sell the precious gems too."Now the question is still there. i. e. How to improve English Communication?

The answer is obvious. You will start speaking with your colleagues, friends, and family members. You can learn some words daily. If you do not have that good background, then you can think of training. ( I am not saying just join "My Classes" but whichever you find is convenient.) Where your trainer will assist you to build your confidence and grammatical accuracy.

To sum up, it is a bad reality that the loss(in Lakhs) you get because of your poor communication is more massive than your training expenses. (Thousand Rupees)
