Euphorbia antisyphilitica
Fall is here!
This week we’re highlighting a unique plant named Euphorbia antisyphilitica. I say this because it’s clearly a succulent, yet with ornamental grass-like behavior and growth habit. A mass of thin, pencil-like upright succulent stems produce a clump only growing 1-2ft x 2-3ft wide. The overall footprint makes this one perfect for tight spots or areas with limited visibility. Dark green stems that can have a slight grey cast to them, will flourish in full, reflected sun to even almost full shade. Bright light is a necessity in any situation so the stems don’t become too stretched and flop over.
Tiny creamy white flowers with pink centers appear on the stem ends from spring-summer. Best maintenance is to not overwater, keep debris out from between the stems, and make sure your gardener doesn’t prune them. 😊 This one is SUPER easy, so just don’t over complicate it. Yahoo for easy plants!!!
***Please note, we will now be offering this plant in a new size of 2gallons, instead of a 3gallons.
Enjoy the rest of your week!
Thank you,
