We launched a business in January and they said IT WOULD NOT WORK!

Everyone said... no one launches a business in January…January?! Well, We Made It Work!

In September of 2014, we met with other business owners and speakers to get their feedback, whom ALL told us you don’t launch an event in ‘January’ – nobody will come out.

 We didn’t listen!

In January 2015, we launched Event of Champions® in London with a private dinner at The Ritz London and a Champions Mastermind. We not only filled the room over the holidays and the beginning of January, but we had 20 people for a private dinner (who all paid £1,000 each) to network at The Ritz London with us and our guest speakers.

We had…..

• Ø NO BRANDING - just clipart for a banner
• Ø NO WEBSITE - just a landing page
• Ø NO LIST – we called and messaged everyone we knew
• Ø NO BUDGET! - Lol, we had to sell, sell, sell!

The event was a huge success! In fact, we had people from across Europe and the USA attend that event. To date we have done events in Toronto (quite a few times), Dublin, Singapore and Trinidad.

LISTEN TO THIS!!! >> Just 4 months after we launched, we were featured in Forbes then 1 year later in BBC Business News and Sky TV AND many more since.

Are you kidding me!

What if we believed the negatives? What if we allowed fear of the unknown to paralyse our success? What if we waited to have everything in place?

THE LESSON HERE…..

1. Don’t listen to the negatives – they will bring you down.
2. Don’t believe in the naysayers, complainers, or those that don’t believe in you.
3. Follow your heart – if you know it will bring value to others, do it!
4. Have a clear plan of action to ensure success – don’t just wing it, plan it properly (that’s what I teach in my Launch Your BIG Idea Program)
5. Protect your Idea by making sure it’s trademarked etc. you’d be surprised how many people had the same idea you started LOL
6. Do the work – A living is made from 9 – 5, a fortune is made after 5!
