Without an architect, a building is just a box. Without a UX designer, a website is just a string of code. In a year defined by lightning-fast advancements in artificial intelligence, it can be hard to remember that it’s humans, for better or worse, who ultimately shape the built world.
Behind each of the winning projects featured in this year’s Innovation by Design Awards is a team of people who challenged themselves to solve thorny problems. Their ingenuity has resulted in products, buildings, tools, and ideas that push their respective fields forward (here's our methodology for picking winners).

Figma —the General Excellence winner of the 2023 Innovation by Design Awards—has recently rolled out a variety of tools to enable collaboration among other types of workers who need to share visual ideas, such as managers, engineers, copywriters, and researchers.
In January, following a three-year collaboration with Disability:IN, a global nonprofit focused on increasing inclusivity for the disabled community,
JanSport launched its Adaptive Collection: a backpack and a crossbody bag that come in two colors (black and powder pink), along with a tie-dye pattern. The collection is the winner of the Accessible Design category.
All of the projects are a reminder that it takes more than an algorithm to understand—and solve—humanity's most pressing needs.

Latest (ILO) Statistics reveal: “Youth unemployment worldwide last year dipped to a 15-year-low & is likely to continue falling throughout 2025 […] with 64.9 million people aged between 15 & 24 worldwide were unemployed last year” The same parental assistance some corporations maliciously groom the youth to get rid of, & ignore parental advice because they are “mature enough”, surprisingly those corporations become the same that use & drop the youth like useless pieces of rotten disposable flesh. Corporations are very powerful entities some of them can silence you and luckily not all of them do. Children who lack parental guidance are at human traffickers mercy.
