Feeling overwhelmed or burned out?
Good morning from Melbourne, where I can hear the cars racing from my friend's bedroom.
Sadly, I am not over here for the Grand Prix – I'd love to stay for it, but I must get home & finish moving house! Next time. 😁
What I did come over for was to support one of the Melbourne EO Members. They've been self-implementing EOS & after hearing about me, they decided, they wanted help.
We ran an awesome self-implementers day yesterday where we took all the work they have done (which was awesome, by the way) & took it up a notch. We all had a lot of fun. As you can see from the photos & we left the room with a revised V/TO, some key learnings about the EOS tools & a strong plan with rocks for the next quarter. The team scored a solid 9.5/10, so we did good!
And that's the key thing about EOS – it's simple, but fundamentally changing how a business operates can be hard, especially if you're trying to be the implementer & one of the team at the same time.
So to have someone external come in, challenge & question everything to help you simplify it can be helpful.
This week's newsletter has a great EOS tool for overcoming entrepreneurial challenges, we explore pets in the workplace (a hot topic of mine) & my find of the week is based on our moving into a small home.
Have a great weekend!

BETTER LIFE: Fur babies at work?
If you run your own business like us, you may be in the privileged position of being able to bring your pet to work. Why would you do that, you ask?
Here are some reasons why you might consider bringing your little fluff-tail to work with you:
Unconditional Love: Pets, especially dogs and cats, offer unconditional love to their owners. They don't judge, criticise or hold grudges, which can be a great source of comfort and happiness.
Reducing Stress and Anxiety: Studies have shown that spending time with pets can reduce human stress and anxiety levels. Research has shown that simply petting a dog lowers the stress hormone cortisol.
Exercise and Activity: Owning a pet, particularly a dog, can encourage us to be more active and engage in regular exercise.
Emotional Support: Pets can provide emotional support during difficult times, such as after a loss or during a period of stress.
And that is why we love having Apollo Chantry-Taylor & Hermes Chantry-Taylor in our office 💖

FIND OF THE WEEK: Bye-bye gadgets, Hello bench space.
In anticipation of moving into our new 'small but perfectly formed' townhouse, I recently purchased a Thermomix.
This little beauty has replaced my egg maker, slow cooker, rice cooker & food processor.
And instead of buying those occasional use flours and storing a whole bag when you only need one cup for one recipe, the Thermomix can grind almonds, rice, beans & chickpeas to flour in seconds.

This machine has freed up space in my kitchen. I truly DO NOT know myself. I now only have the coffee maker, my toaster & the air fryer on my bench top, alongside my new favourite toy.
Thanks Nicola Kelland for recommending this new gadget!
