The Few

Greetings in The Mighty Name of Jesus, The Christ!!!

I wanted to start this week’s message with a Notification. I will not be sending a Message Next Week (10/31/2021) as I will not be available to do so, Messages will resume on the 11/7/2021.

“So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.”

Matthew 20:16

Brothers and Sisters we must understand that not everyone who is Saved is Called, but Jesus has chosen Few to Stand Against the Darkness of evil on a Congregational Level. Now before anyone goes the wrong direction here, we are all to Fight Against the Enemy, for he is out to Kill, Steal and Destroy Jesus Work, but there are those who are Called Into Office to wage Spiritual War on a Congregational Level.

There are many of you who have been taught not to Accept all of the Offices that Jesus put into place. The Offices are Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher…

“11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:”

Ephesians 4:11-12

 “And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner [stone];”

Ephesians 2:20

This message is not on the Five Fold Offices, but Understanding that we are the Heads, the Leaders that Must take Accountability for those whom Jesus brings under our care. The Congregations are Subject to these whom ONLY Jesus can Call and Set.

“Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that [is] unprofitable for you.”

Hebrews 13:17

But let us talk on the Gifts Of The Spirit, for they Differ from the Offices. Everyone whom has asked Jesus to be their Lord and Savior have place, have a Work to be done. Whether it is by Prayer or Physical Work it does matter. But those who have a Gift do it to the best of their ability, not slacking in what Jesus has given in The Spirit. Be not Envying nor Jealous, or Prideful in that Gift, for even with the Gift that Jesus has given will you be held Accountable.

“And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.”

Matthew 25:15

Jesus has not given Gifts on an Equal Status, but only as He Desires to do so. In those Gifts they are not all Measured in the same Weight, but only as Jesus has given does He Expect you to do Your Best in what He has given you to do! If you have done Your Best, then there will be A Gain, A Profit, A Greater Return on The Gift, but it cannot remain the same as Jesus has given.

“20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. 21 His lord said unto him, Well done, [thou] good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. 23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, [there] thou hast [that is] thine. 26 His lord answered and said unto him, [Thou] wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: 27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and [then] at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.”

Matthew 25:20-27

As we see, Jesus will Expect a Return on The Gift He has given you to do and if you do nothing, then there will be a Consequence for your actions.

Now these Gifts are Built upon the Foundation of the Five Fold Offices…

“10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.”

1 Corinthians 3:10-15

Understand this, that The Gifts are Subject to The Word and The Holy Spirit, having the Offices as The Foundation that Jesus has built, whom is The Chief Corner Stone of Our Faith. We cannot just go off and do whatever we want, but it Must be Sanctified by The Holy Spirit, The Word and The Offices, else it is just Works Of The Flesh. In other words, we must be Laid By The Spirit, Working Through The Spirit, to accomplish the Task The Lord Jesus Wants!

“27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. 28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. 29 [Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all workers of miracles? 30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? 31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.”

1 Corinthians 12:27-31

Now let’s clarify some of these Scriptures. The Order of the Offices are Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher, having the Apostle and Prophet over all. The list above is not Speaking of Office’s Only, but is a Combination of the Offices and Gifts. There are many different Gifts, but there are Only Five Offices.

One of the Differences from the Office and Gifts Of The Spirit are that The Offices can ONLY BE GIVEN BY JESUS, no man can lay hands or anoint someone for these Offices, but the Gift can be Obtained by the Laying Of Hands and Anointed by one of the Offices.

Even though both are Held Accountable, the Office has a More Accountability to Jesus.

“But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few [stripes]. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.”

Luke 12:48

So then, with Understanding, we must do our Diligence to Accomplish the Task that has been given to us in an Orderly Fashion. Those who have a Gift, let them be Subject to Jesus First, then that of the Office whom will Agree or Disagree, with this Understanding, that if Jesus has given a Talent, a Gift then it Must be in Agreement with The Word, The Holy Spirit and One Of The Offices (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher). Someone cannot just go on their own and decide …”Oh, I’m going to do this, because I Want to…” it MUST be Sanctioned!

Let me give you an example of an Unsanctioned Task. Someone decides they want to be able to Marry people, but The Church does not give them permission, nor do they have the training, nor has Jesus Called them, so they go out to the Internet and get an Ordained License to be able to Marry People, THIS IS NOT SANCTIONED BY JESUS!!! Or let say that someone decides on their own, that they are going to Start a Ministry to help the Poor, the Sick, the Hungry, the Orphaned, but The Church Offices did not Sanctify the Ministry, then these are Works Of A Fleshly Desire and Not Of Jesus. Because of such things the Church has been Divided and Not Speaking the same Doctrine as Jesus has set forth.

“Let all things be done decently and in order.”

1 Corinthians 14:40

Now have another Understanding dealing with Gifts, a church that has a Board Of Members ARE NOT THE GOVERNING OFFICES, they are a Legal Means Of Government ONLY!!! If a Board is made up of The Offices, in which Jesus has Sanctified then they are The Governing Body on both accounts, to God First then to the means of Legal Requirements. I saying this for you to Understand that a Board, for the most part, cannot decide who will do what in the Church. Some churches think that they are the Ruling Body, but in Gods Eyes, they are not! Board Members are Voted In by an agreement of the church body, where as the Offices of Jesus and the Gifts Of The Spirit cannot be. Dealing with The Gifts Of The Spirit only the Offices Of Jesus need to Agree or Disagree, the Legal Board has No Say.

Why is all of this important? There are too many people that are doing “Their Own Thing” and claiming that Jesus told them to do so, when He has not. If there is a Ministry without one of the Offices Over It, then it is Not Sanctified By Jesus. How do you know this? Again, God does things in an Order, and in His Order All Things are to be Built Upon the Foundation Of The Apostles and Prophets, Jesus being the Chief Corner Stone, having the Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher subject to them, so therefore all Gifts by reason of The Holy Spirit are also subject to The Order Of Jesus.

We Live by a Hierarchy within a Theocracy, meaning we are under the Governing Rule Of God in an Orderly Fashion that He Deems to be, not as Man Deems. Let all Gifts be done in Decent Order, let each person Covet their Gift, their Talent to the Glory of Jesus!!! If I do my Gift without Direction from God, then is my Gift unto My Glory and Not God, but if I do my Gift under the Guide Lines in which Jesus has set, then does He Receive All The Glory!!!

If any are to say they have a Gift, then let it be Confirmed by those whom Jesus has place as Head in The Church, being patient in the Gift, that Jesus may Receive All Glory, lifting you up in His Time, with His Purpose!

“6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

1 Peter 5:6-7

If the Gift that you have is truly of Jesus, through The Holy Spirit, then Jesus, through The Holy Spirit, will open to you a Door for that Gift to be used in Jesus Appointed Time…Not Yours! Let these Gifts be not Rushed, but let them be Tempered, having them being Tried and True that Jesus Is Glorified.

Remember, Few are Called into Offices and many that have been given Gifts to used for the Kingdom. Let your Gift, your Talent, shine through the Darkness of Evil, that the Unsaved might have an Opportunity to be Saved.

Not All Have The Calling,

Nor Do All Have The Same Gifts or Talents,

Covet That In Which Jesus Has Given You,

To Glorify Him!!!
