First, Thank you so much for reading this newsletter every week! This is truly a project from my heart, and I am grateful that you take the time to engage with this publication! THANK YOU!
Second, You are doing a phenomenal job! You get up every morning, you set out to do a thing, and you either do it, or you make progress towards it. That deserves to be celebrated!
Take time to celebrate your wins. An accomplishment is no less of an accomplishment because of its size. Appreciate and celebrate all of your accomplishments. We live in a ruthless, thoughtless world. Enjoy the moments of joy and achievement.
Third, here is the hard truth … everyone will not love, appreciate, or understand your efforts, your passion, your work, your products, or your sacrifice. When you are an entrepreneur, most times, you are doing and trying to provide a product or service that is near and dear to your heart. You are operating with passion and love for your craft and impact, hoping to make a difference and have a positive impact on people’s lives.
It is a hard reality to stand tall amid negativity. I surmise that celebrities understand this better than anyone. If you make sure that everything you do is done with honesty, humility, integrity, and excellence, then you can be sure that, no matter how the world views what you have done, You have done your best, and you have done a good job.
Understand that doing your best and being the best does not mean that you will always do everything perfectly. In no case is perfection the goal or achievement. We strive to give 100% in excellence and to take responsibility when we fall short. This is the mark of a great leader and visionary.
Finally, at the end of each day, I evaluate the things I’ve done and accomplished and how I’ve done those things. For me, as long as the Lord is pleased with what I have done, I can be confident that HE(the Lord) will cover my shortcomings and that I have done my BEST!
