Free webinar: Learn to master your thoughts
🕊️ Free Webinar 🕊️
Is it just me, or does it feel like the world is falling apart?
The news ‘clickbait’ cycle doesn’t help.
Yes, the reality is one of crisis, hardship, death for many of our fellow global citizens right now.
From Ukraine to Myanmar, Afghanistan, Yemen …. there are too many crisis spots to list here.
However, I am convinced that, ultimately, peace will prevail.
Why?
Many of my friends and colleagues do not buy into the narrative of ‘you are with us or against us’ narrative. People are coming together. They are speaking out. Taking bold and courageous action.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy is the embodied spirit of this, really, when he addressed the Russian people.
We are more connected to each other than ever. We can make a difference.
But: the problem is our brain.
While our heart longs for believing in the collective good and peace, our brain stops us dead in our tracks and forecasts the world ending.
It’s hard-wired to see and signal danger.
It’s hard-wired to prioritise the negative over the positive.
Yet, if we each practice being mindful on the inside….
If we guide our thoughts as opposed to them running us….
Imagine what would be possible for you .. at work, at home, in your family, in your community?
Thomas a Kempis said: "First keep the peace within yourself, then you can also bring peace to others".

And, no, I do not mean smiling in the face of adversity and talking yourself to positivity BS**.
I mean letting go of deconstructive and self-sabotaging thought patterns.
And being able to choose a different one.
Peace of thought is a powerful tool.
My internal and external state has improved dramatically since learning the tools and ways to not be hijacked by my thoughts.
I am more conscious of how I show up in the world.
⁉️ How about you ⁉️

2yLoving this topic! Indeed it can be such a difficult thing at times to turn these negative thoughts into positive enabling ones, but the amazing thing - as you say - is that we can make that conscious choice to change our mindset! Looking forward to learning even more from the webinar 🤗
