I’m thrilled to share some big news. Today, we announced our plans to bring Snyder’s-Lance, a leading snacking company in the U.S., into Campbell’s family of brands. Their well-known brands include Snyder’s of Hanover, Lance, Kettle Brand, KETTLE chips, Cape Cod, Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps, Emerald and Late July.

We know consumer preferences are changing, and we’re taking steps to offer a variety of better-for-you, real food options to you and your family, at home or on the go. The combination of Campbell and Snyder’s-Lance will offer a unique opportunity to create a true snacking leader that provides people with a variety of snacks—literally from soup to nuts.

This acquisition helps advance our Purpose with real food snacking.

Snyder’s-Lance marks our sixth acquisition in five years, and the largest in Campbell history. Their products and approach are very closely aligned with ours. Culturally, we share similar values and a commitment to a purpose-driven approach. Philosophically, we both believe in making food that we’re proud to serve at our own tables using simple, recognizable ingredients.
