Genius Within October Newsletter

Crisp air, and fresh ideas...

As the vibrant colors of summer gracefully change  to the enchanting hues of autumn, we find ourselves standing at the threshold of a new season filled with promise and change. Just as the leaves transform, so too does our company as we embrace the shifts and opportunities that lie ahead this Autumn and Winter.

In this edition, we are excited to share with you our latest updates, insights, and the upcoming events that will keep you informed, engaged, and inspired.

Thanks to Paul Stevenson, our Genius Within Ambassador, for our October photo of choice!

"Autumn holds a special place in my heart as a photographer. Beyond the enchanting tapestry of changing colors, it's about seizing fleeting moments, not just gazing ahead, but also paying attention to the subtle details beneath my gaze. As a visual thinker, I envision the image I want to capture before stepping outside, yet I embrace the spontaneity of discovering unexpected beauty in my surroundings. This simple image, which I sincerely hope you enjoy, encapsulates a precious moment that resonates deeply with me."

Neurodiversity Coaching: A Practical Guide

Professor Doyle and Professor McDowall's upcoming book 'Neurodiversity Coaching, A Practical Guide' is proving so popular on Amazon!

'The book supports existing coaching practitioners, managers and community leaders to understand the essentials of neurodivergence, a term which encompasses ADHD, Autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia and Tourette Syndrome, and how these diagnoses require specific coaching approaches to support individuals to thrive at work.

'This book is practically focused on the “how”, sharing coaching exercises and activities that have been evaluated and researched by authors with extensive experience in the field. Grounded in coaching psychology theory, those with existing knowledge will be able to transfer their skill set to the neurodiversity context and those who are considering learning more about coaching can be signposted to essential knowledge and skills." A space to thrive...

At the Good Ship Genius, we love to help people tap into their strengths! A question that we like to ask is for people to describe what they are like when they are working at their best. Because all brains are different some people will answer with a very straightforward list, while others may tap into a metaphor to describe their state. Having so many creative and visual thinkers on our team we decided recently to collate these and turn them into a social media campaign where we chose videos that matched the descriptions. Here is one of our favourites.

Why not think about what your answer would be? To see the full collection take a look at our Instagram page.

Do not forget to keep an eye on our social media channels for more up-to-date information. Don't forget, if you want to talk to us more about what we do, you are always welcome to get in touch.

Have a wonderful week,

Gabby and the Marketing Team
