2. Can u tell me about your career path and what led you to the role you are in today?
I'd like to say I started my career in East Asia as a salesperson of a semiconductor company. After sales experience I had a chance to join a start-up company in Hong Kong. The goal of the company is to go to the public market, our team tried our best but the results were not good. That point I found myself seriously interested in the accounting, financial and tax sector. It led me to today as a USCPA candidate, Accounting and Tax consultant in SCS VN.
3. What is the most fun part of being the staff of the international/multicultural firm?
Based on the SCS network, I can connect to most countries in the world. It is an amazing experience, I have the chance to listen to the true story of their life, work, and passion for their career as well.
Especially to solve the issues over the countries, the SCS network helps us and our clients to get a new point of view. and some Sometimes it is to get a solution from the local SCS team.
4. When is the best moment of your day in the office/or how a work day look like for you?
Personally I love to have alone time in the office, I go to the office early in the morning with my Vietnamese street style breakfast. It helps me to prepare for the day and to keep my mind clear.
5. Who is your soulmate in your office, and why?
Definitely Ms. Nhung. So far, I couldn't start learning the Vietnamese language, She helps me solve my problems in life, even though it's not her job. Part of My Hanoi life relies on her.
6. What would surprise people about your daily work?
Um, Not much. work is work. Nothing surprising.
7. How do you continue to grow and develop as a leader?
I'm very embarrassed to talk about leadership, I'm the kind of person who does not like a leader type. As a team manager, I try to be a friend, or good listener.
Every team has different constructors, because every person has a different personality.
I'd like to keep my team members happy. The first step is to improve myself as a manager for my team, which is carefully listening to them.

I care about efficiency and effectiveness of my life, I can speak 4 different languages and have an understanding of other cultures. The SCS company culture is very open minded, and very international. I can easily adopt this multicultural background firm, and am really thankful about this.
10. What impressed you most about Vietnam people and culture?
Early morning in Vietnam, Hanoi people are very very very active! I love it. I am also kind of a morning person.
Before coming to Vietnam, I lived in Abu Dhabi, UAE for 4 years, in the middle east under the sun, after sun rises, especially in summer, nobody will go out.
At the first summer in UAE, I was so surprised that after the sunset everything changed. Kids are coming out to the playground and even the mall, restaurants are busier than anytime in a day.
After the darkness of the day, the middle east people wake up. But here in Hanoi, Vietnam, I can feel the people's life with the sunrise, It makes me more actively enjoy my life.
The beauty of Hanoi morning is the flower ladies, and the variety in Vietnamese breakfast. I strongly recommend it.
11. If you had to be shipwrecked on a deserted island, but all your human needs—such as food and water—were taken care of, what two items would you want to have with you?
Rosary, I grew up in a religious environment, my parents are sincerely for the god and church community.
12. If you have a time machine, would you travel to the future or back to the past and to what moment ?
I'd like to not going for both future and past. but If I have to make a choice. I'd like to choose the future for prevent the risk.
13. If you could go back in time, what would you do differently ?
Nothing will change, I had a chance to think about this several times.
Every time my answer is the same. Because, every moment of my life I tried to make the best for me or my people. So far, I don't have regrets with that.
It was really nice knowing you and we had a really good conversation ! Looking forward to a long and fruitful association between you and SCS !
